Family ski vacation

Overall very happy with house, location, and process.A few small issues such as a very small coffee maker for 8 quest and the deck was not shoveled when we arrived did not detract from overall satisfaction with our stay. I would recommend!

Great stay at Big Sky

Very comfortable and well appointed property slopeside. Easy on/off making breaks and lunchtime a pleasure.Communication was perfect all the way through, check-in was easy, overall a wonderful experience

Great Ski-In Ski-Out

Wonderful stay. The house was plenty big for our family of four. Super location - getting out to ski and getting back at the end of the day was easy. Literally we walked out the back door and started our ski day. House was comfy with good amenities - we grilled out almost every night.

Great house for multiple families!

We had 3 families with kids stay together and it was great. A great space to all be together, but also place for everyone to retreat to when needed. Hot tub was great and easy access to a trail out the back door was super convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing views…. Convenient location!

The house was great. Had everything you could ever need in a group ski house. Ski on/off super convenient and easy. Ascend realty group was super responsive. I’m surprised of the prior negative review. This place was great and we will be back!

8 Full Moon

We have stayed in several of these houses/cabins over the years. This year, I would have to say was disappointing. There were several little things that were just lacking or not appointed. The largest being the wood burning fireplace was not operational, and we were not informed of this. The hot tub cover was broken, botht the frame and the insulated top. The carpets throughout the unit had damage and were nailed down and one of us stepped on one of the nail heads and cut foot, which was not fun for the remainder of the trip to ski on. The entry rug was destroyed and had holes in it and completely worn out. The hot water was out at kitchen sink for the first day, this was repaired quickly though. Some Lights in kitchen weren't working, which made cooking difficult. Wine Cooler in kitchen was frozen. Sauna was out of order. Pillows were terrible. I own rental properties, both commercial and residential. I'm really not one to complain, and wouldn't if it had been a thing or two. I feel that this unit wasn't up to par and honestly was disappointed. However, this is the first time we have ever been disappointed with one of these units over several years of staying in the area.

The property was excellent. It fulfilled all of our needs. It was in need of some deck repairs but that was behind the hot tub and caused no problems. The location was great ! Would definitely stay there again !

Beautiful mountain home

A very nice and cozy mountain home. Property management were very responsive and communicative and a pleasure to deal with. Ski in/Ski out was fantastic (and was much simpler than the directions given). A few items weren't operational, which management let us know about, but was still a bit of a bummer. Only real quibble was the the kitchen was not equipped with what one would expect of a luxury home. But overall, it's a very nice, very large place, good for two families or one family with lots of children.

Great location. Easy ski in/out. Encountered a few minor issues during our stay (dirty dishes upon arrival, no propane for bbq, etc.), but overall a good property in a great location. Would reccomend.

We’ll Be Back!

Location was perfect and cabin was clean and cozy. You feel like you’re in a quaint mountain village and the views were stunning! The ski in/out access was about as easy as it gets. We had a wonderful time in 8 Full Moon. We did miss the fireplace but understood it required maintenance before it was safe to use. Management co refunded us a fair amount since we could not use the fireplace and did so before our arrival so it came as no surprise. Hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans. We donated a large frying pan as we cook a lot on vacation. The dishwasher wasn’t the best and we hand washed a lot of dishes but it was no big deal. All in all we had everything we needed to cook several meals. Even homemade bread! Steam shower in master was awesome as were the heated tile floors! We missed our pillows from home but the bed was comfy. Every sleeping area has its own bathroom which was nice for all guests. Everyone on the trip throughly enjoyed themselves and said they’d stay here again. Great ski trip with the absolute perfect setting and location!

Had a blast!

The house was great. Although we were unable to use the fireplace, the hot tub more than made up for it. Ski out was easy, ski in a little tricky, but just follow the owners instructions (not the trail map). Perfect space for the 7 guys on our trip.

Great vacation rental

This was the second time we have rented this property for a ski-cation. It is a true ski-in/ ski-out rental. It is very comfortable and has great views. Unfortunately, the the fireplace was not safe to use, so the evening après-ski was not as charming as last year.

Luxury and Incredible Ski Access

This house is fantastic (SO pretty!) and views are gorgeous. True ski in ski out. Extremely safe area! We are skiers level 4/5 (kids through adults) and up and no one had a problem with ski in ski out. The ski run is literally five feet from the house door! Great games available in the house for kids. Hot tub and wood-burning fireplace worked great. Lots of places to hang and dry gear/clothing. House was SO comfortable! Lots of plates, glasses and wine glasses. Minor issues: Would recommend updating the cookware- a bit old. Also I could not find any oven mitts and had to use kitchen towels. We did cook daily and really enjoyed our stay. If we return to Big Sky in the winter, we would absolutely stay again. Also will recommend this property to our traveling friends and colleagues. Many thanks and Happy New Year.
