We went to this hotel for our baby moon on labor day weekend and it was very very warm outside, once we got there to check in the front desk gal told us there AC is down and she will put us down stairs where it’ll be cooler also have housekeeping bring a fan for me since i’m pregnant! haha so let me tell you the fan they brought was as big as my ipad! and they only brought one fan, my poor fiance didn’t get one for himself for the nightstand, I asked them for another fan twice and since didn’t bring it, I gave up and we tried to make it work for both of us.. also if we wanted to open the glass screen door for cold air at during night time there’s no outside screen where you can lock it only an glass screen door!! so you can’t really have that open during night while we are sleeping cause anyone can walk it! anyways all I have to say about this place is please at least call your guest let them know when there’s no AC in the hotel when it’s literally around 80s and let them know about the downstairs rooms only has a glass screen doors.. we both had an uncomfortable experience and it’s sucks cause i really love big bear it’s just this hotel of choice! also to mention the front desk gal said she was going to give me $50 off for the inconvenience due to the AC system, I did not see it on my final bill? I didn’t even want to argue and call them for the $50 off they can keep it! cause we’re definitely not coming back to this hotel…

The air conditioning and the toilet didn't working the first room we were assigned and we were moved to another room. The air didn't work on that room either. The hot water in the shower did not work. The pool was not maintained and the Jacuzzi was not heated.

Our view was a half dozen of trash bins and discarded mattresses... Shower did not drain properly... The Restaurant did not have a Bar Tender... The Fireplace did not work... Vending Machines did not work... They use the word "Resort" but it had a Motel vibe...

The property is poorly maintained. AC has been broken for weeks/months when you read through the comments. Advertised Hot Tub has no working heater and was colder than the pool. Manager Deron Lane and front desk staff “Victor” are rude,very unprofessional and liars. I checked in on a Thursday to the AC being broken and was told by a team member “open the window sun will go down soon” my room was 80 degrees. The following day i checked in on the status of repair and was told it was not fixed and no time frame. No alternative accommodation was offered to me. When I returned later in the day to a room at a temp of 79, a fan had been put by the bathroom sink but not turned on. The fan did nothing during the day to bring the temperature in the room to a comfortable level and at night it did minimal to change the temperature. With having to keep the window open for any sort of relief from the heat I had the joy of having ants in my room- on both the bed and chair- on Saturday. I reported this to the front desk and it took 3 times of asking for assistance before someone came and addressed it. When i mentioned that it was likely due to needing to have the window open the person laughed and said “yeah”. Upon my early departure from this property i reiterated my issues and was met with terrible response. When pointing out how long it took for help with ants the Deron said “well someone came didn’t they”. I have never been treated this way at a Holiday Inn and I have stayed at many.

We checked in late, and the staff was friendly. Later, we noticed our air conditioning wasn’t working, and the staff promptly changed our room.

The air conditioning was busted. The hot tub was not hot at all. It was actually cold. The TV in our room did not have any sound. They were well aware that the air conditioning was down. There were about five other people complaining when we went to leave.

Very nice place easy to locate with amazing room and helpful staff. Downsides were difficult to locate elevators. Particular first night was quinceañera party on entire first floor, lobby, and outside party was overwhelming.

Good location, asked for a room on lower floor because I had bike, given room on 2nd far away from elevator looking at construction site, asked to change the room. Was given new room but on the 2nd. Hotel was more than 1/2 empty so that was disappointing. Hotel need updates.
