Experience Biddeford, the Maine coast, and Portland like a local in this delightful 2-bedroom apartment. You'll love the personal touches, dad-made furniture, sustainability features, and friendly owner-host.

Just a 5-minute walk to downtown Biddeford. Close to vibrant Portland. Nearby beaches, train, airport, the popular Old Orchard Beach, and the endlessly cute coastal towns of Ogunquit, Saco, Kennebunkport, Kittery, and Scarborough.

The interior of the wickedly charming 2-bedroom apartment is unique, spacious, warm, sustainable, and very accommodating.

A fully equipped kitchen features a butcher-block peninsula, high-top chairs, and the cutest little nook shelves, which hold plants, multi-function power outlets, and a coffee- and tea-making paradise. More than that, you'll have plenty of cookware, glassware, and modern stainless-steel appliances to nourish and treat yourself during your stay.

The sustainable electrical system, including the two heat pumps and two space heaters that regulate the apartment's temperature, is powered entirely by solar energy derived from a solar array in my hometown of Winslow, Maine.

The master bedroom features a king bed, sitting chairs, lovely plants, ample storage, and lovely dad-made furniture, including the beautiful headboard. There's also a fold-up cot stored under the bed.

The second bedroom features a queen bed, a deep closet, and several sweet creature comforts.

The living room and dining room are uber-inviting and unique, with spots to work, relax, play games, muse, and eat, all while being surrounded by and/or gazing at the handcrafted furniture, funky artwork, Maine gazetteer, and/or special books.

In the laundry closet, you'll find the high-performing washer and dryer, which are free to use. Nestled alongside the units are detergent, dryer sheets, an iron, and an ironing board, so you can keep your clothes and other washables clean and tidy.

In the fully equipped and stocked bathroom, you'll find many handy, sustainable hygiene and personal care products.

We had such a marvelous stay at Chris’s place. Downtown Biddeford is only a quarter mile away, and we loved walking to get coffee and breakfast at Catface Cafe. The home itself was very cozy with all necessary amenities, and we really appreciated the ability to utilize the washer and dryer. 10/10 home!!

I could not have enjoyed staying there more! I LOVE the way the home is decorated; the "tree" furniture, paintings, photography, vintage items - so fun and interesting! I suspect there is a story behind most of these items. The lovley plants and their natural air purifying abilities are an extra bonus. I also greatly appreciate the comfy bed, many extra items throughout the house making the transtion from home easy; cookware, food staples, toiletry items, oil diffuser,, the Amazon echo. Finally, the kind and quet surrounding neighbors, and the easy walk to downtown and to my favofite Yoga Studio Samudtra, added to my experience. I visit Maine regularly for my work so you will hear from me again. Thank you for everything!

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It’s beautifully decorated with a warm, homey feel and stocked with everything you could need. The coffee maker and high-quality coffee were a really nice touch! The apartment was clean, very comfortable, and in a great location within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and Main Street. Christopher was extremely cordial, gracious, and quick to answer any questions or comments, which made everything smooth and easy. I would absolutely recommend this rental and would be happy to stay here again!

Very pleasant stay! Beautifully decorated with reclaimed and vintage furnishings. Slept beautifully in the comfy bed. Amenities ranged from a Smart TV to Amazon Echos to aromatic essential oils. Short walk to downtown Biddeford with many diverse restaurants and eclectic shops. Great central location between Portland and Ogunquit for exploring. Will definitely return! Easy parking
