Four fantastic days

Beautiful, peaceful, cosy. I could go on. The cottage was modern and cosy at the same time. There was a welcome hamper which contained a variety of items which would allow you to eat if you’d brought nothing with you including a cuppa or cappuccino ( with pain au chocolat). The host welcomed us and was available and asked how things were in passing. I would recommend this property and location to anyone. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful!

Immaculate, beautiful property. Had everything you could possibly need, toiletries etc. Lovely touch of welcome hamper. Location so peaceful but only within half an hour drive to numerous places, beaches etc, Scotland. Great for walks too. Property owners extremely friendly. Weekend not long enough though, would do a week next time.

Fantastic accommodation

Fantastic accommodation, Lee couldn’t be anymore accommodating if he tried. He provided a lovely welcome hamper. It’s a great location about 3 miles outside Berwick on Tweed and about a mile from the river Tweed & the boarder with Scotland. Great to get to many tourists attractions, holy island, Kielder forest, Bamburgh castle, Edinburgh etc. Hope to come back at some stage in the future.

A great place to stay

The property is exactly as shown and Lee is a welcoming and helpful host. The welcome basket was a lovely touch with everything you need for the first day and beyond. The property is immaculately clean and well equipped with the addition of tvs almost everywhere to allow people to watch what they like. The location is excellent for visits all over the border area and visits to lindisfarne and Bambaugh castle are a must. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

5 night stay

Cracking property which is handy for north of the border too. Helpful welcome pack assisted in a few things we forgot … Would go again with friends or family and a little Sun trap too Only a few minutes from Norham village and about 20 mins from Duns. Very nice host

Loved are stay at morris cottages lovely location lovely tranquil setting good base to explore northumberland. The cottage was fab as previous reviews have said pictures don’t do it justice ! Will definitely stay here again 😀

Superb holiday let

Three sisters and spouses celebrated the youngest member of the party's 70th birthday!!! What a brilliant location for a quiet and restful holiday! Loads of interesting visits. This part of Northumberland should not be neglected as a holiday destination! What a superb cottage: very well resourced, clean and comfortable. Amazing care and attention from our friendly host, Lee. The warm greeting was capped by an amazing Welcome Pack. So grateful for the thoughtfulness. Couldn't have been better.

Quiet, rural getaway but close to the A1.

A well equipped, modern and dog friendly cottage. Excellent welcome hamper on arrival from Lee who was very helpful. Lots of information available on local walks and trips available in the cottage. Only issue we had was that the downstairs toilet is a very low child height one which my elderly mother in law couldn’t use and her bedroom was downstairs.

New year with family and friends

We stayed at Lee’s amazing cottage for new year. The cottage was wonderfully clean and well equipped, the welcome basket phenomenally generous. I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay here. We will 100% return. Thank you Lee for making our New Year trip so memorable.

Great Getaway

Lovely accommodation in quiet spot with close links to town and plenty to see. Host was very welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay and hopefully if we come again the ducks and 🦚 will be allow to be free roaming. Loved being able to hear then quacking away in the background.

Perfection

Wonderful cottage with everything you could ever need. Lee was super helpful and gave us some great tips for places to visit. We visited Eyemouth, Bamburgh, Holy Island and Berwick for a lively walk around and a fab meal at Foxtons. We loved the outdoor seating for the stargazing and the visits from the deer in the surrounding field. We will definitely be returning.

Morrishall Farm

We had a great stay at Morrishall. The cottage had everything that we needed and more. It was very clean and spacious. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The children had great fun feeding the Peacocks and Ducks. Lee was a fantastic host who provided suggestions for days out. Will definitely return.

Perfect for exploring both side of the boarder

Such a lovely cottage, with easy access to some beautiful places to visit. We explored the Northumbrian cost and Edinburgh from here. The host Lee went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, the hamper on arrival was the best one yet and very much unexpected. There is everything you need at the cottage We definitely recommend and will be back. The pub in the village is worth a visit for food too.

Our fortnight holiday at Morris Hall Cottages

When we booked this holiday we were not sure what to expect as it was the first time we had used vbro but the holiday turned out to be exceptional. The cottage was excellent and so was the host Lee who welcomed us and offered any support we may have needed. Not that we needed any support. I would recommend Morris Hall Cottages with a rating of 10/10.

Golfing Trip to Northumberlans

We really enjoyed staying here, the location was great for the golf courses around us, Lee the host was excellent, the hamper pack on our arrival was the best I've ever had anywhere I've stayed with family or friends.

A lovely get-away location

Lots to see and do, from going to Edinburgh, looking around castles and lovely walks on the doorstep. House is clean and tidy and the welcome Hamper was superb. Thanks Lee, for a lovely stay

Peaceful family break

Lee was a fantastic host, made the stay very easy and gave us some detail on the local area. The area itself is so peaceful, with a few walks nearby and the village of Norham and the castle. We loved the welcome gift left by Lee and everything in the property was exactly what we needed as a family. Will be hoping to stay again

Short Easter break

We needed accommodation with 3 bedrooms near to Berwick to visit relatives. This property was in an ideal location being only a few minutes from Berwick. The house was exactly as described with the best welcome pack we have ever had when renting a holiday home. It was really well equipped and lovely and clean. The village of Norham has all that you need including a pub where we had a great Sunday lunch, a bakery a shop and a butchers. We will definitely return. Thank you Lee for providing a great place to stay.

Fantastic property!

Everything about this holiday letting was fantastic. The property was very clean/well presented as seen in the pictures. Lee was a fantastic host and had thought of everything, as we went over Christmas the property was decorated and this made it extra special for the children. I would highly recommend this to anyone & hope to be going back again.

Wonderful home from home.

We had a truly wonderful stay here at Morris Hall Farm holiday cottages. The cottage itself was very comfortable, warm, plenty of room and very well equipped. The shower upstairs was really lovely and powerful! The kitchen is well equipped which made for an easy week of eating in. A lovely touch that dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid were provided, not a common occurrence on many of our previous self catering holidays. Wifi was great and a nice surprise that there was Netflix, prime etc available on the main tv in the lounge. Lee was a very friendly host, helpful and happy to chat/give advice on things to do in the local area. The peacocks are very friendly and an usual thing to see outside the kitchen window! As for the welcome basket, what can I say apart from wow! The best we have ever experienced thank you Lee!! Norham itself is a great location for a trip around the sites of Northumberland, we enjoyed the coast, Holy Island, Duddo stones, Alnwick castle and Berwick upon Tweed. Norham castle is a lovely walk from the cottage and even kept our 10 year old interested. Thank you again Lee for a lovely half term break.

Great Accommodation and location

Easy booking and early confirmation of booking, lots of useful information provided in advance in relation to the property and days out. Clear and helpful instructions. The house and gardens were immaculate. The treat box was a lovely surprise and really was a treat. The location is great for days out on the coast. I would definitely recommend this property and would absolutely return in the future
