STAYZ policies outline that the presence of CCTV must be listed in the information online about the property. No mention of CCTV online or in the welcome information at the property yet there were at least 5 cameras. Made us feel uneasy.

Nice stay in an old mountain cottage

Very generous with kitchen supplies and appliances. Front yard is fully enclosed which is great if you have dogs. A highlight for us was the beautiful view towards the back of the property and the fireplace / plentiful supply of wood. However, the house is quite dirty - all the dining chairs are stained and there is a noticeable smell around the house. One of the bedrooms with the spiral staircase is a hazard - one of us bumped our heads on the exposed metal edge of the step which left a huge red bump and was quite painful. There was also a toothbrush left behind in the shower which made us question the cleanliness of the house …The host did not provide check in details before we arrived so we were left stranded outside the property for an hour with limited phone reception while we tried to contact stayz to get the lockbox code. The host was not responsive during this time given they were overseas. Some prior planning by the host for the time zone difference could have prevented this mishap. The 3km road leading to the driveway of the property is a rough ride especially if you have a 2wd vehicle. We could feel quite a lot of bumps even in our 4wd so you might want to think twice if you have a low vehicle.

We had such an incredible stay, the house and the property were just fabulous and kirsty and martin go above and beyond as property managers the house and property were just fabulous for a family getaway (fur babies included) and in such a great location - we will be back!

Best Family Trip Ever

I booked this house over a year ago for my partner & I, my two sons & their wives to spend some valuable time together & visit the snow. Everything was wonderful, the house had everything we needed & more, we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there in every way, thankyou so much to the wonderful owners/hosts. I would highly recommend here & we are already talking about going back. AAA Just wonderful!

Highland snow trip

We had a great stay here. All the family said the house and property are full of wow factor, beauty and coming back to that wood fire after a day at the snow was perfect. We will keep this stay in mind for next time.

Relaxing stay surrounded by nature

The house is so lovely both comfortable and stylish. The views at the front of the house are beautiful and we enjoyed visits from the wildlife including wallabies, rosellas, and lizards. The dogs enjoyed walking the property but need to be careful about grass seeds. The Christmas tree was a real bonus too! It was the perfect relaxing stay. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful!

The property is absolutely beautiful, as is the surrounding bushland. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The perfect getaway, and what's even better you can bring your dogs! We would love to come back and stay again.
