We had a great stay for a week. Arrived Sunday afternoon and stayed until Saturday. The cabin was clean and inviting. We loved the peaceful location. We cooked most meals at the cabin and enjoyed relaxing on the deck, reading and unwinding in the hot tub. Berkley Springs is a very cute town with equally charming people. Would stay again!

Weekend Getaway

We loved the location and our pups loved being on the creek. The cottage had all the amenities needed and was very well kept. Only complaint is check out was listed as noon and the cleaning crew showed up at 11:15 and was parked on the property, so we felt an urgency to leave earlier then anticipated. Also booking through VRBO we assumed the pet fee was included but received a call after the fact saying it wasn’t and questioning if we had dogs like we were trying to get one over on the property. This is a VRBO issue, not a renter issue.

Absolutely love Sleepy Creek Retreat

This was our second time staying at Sleepy Creek and we just love it. First time was fall, now winter, next we'll do the summer! No matter the weather it's a relaxing experience. Having all the amenities of home is also a plus. I can't forget to mention that the place is SPOTLESS!

Cute little cabin in a remote area. Staff was very responsive and sent someone out within an hour to fix the hot tub on New Years Day! Will gladly stay again

Beautiful paradise

We booked this cabin for a remote weekend getaway. It was everything we hoped for and more! The hot tub was amazing. Such a cozy place to stay with our pup. Only a few minutes outside of town, but completely private and secluded. Nothing around but nature.

Beautiful setting!

The cabin was in a lovely, natural setting. It was very relaxing few days. Keep in mind that the oven runs hot. Watch your food. The hot tub tripped the circuit several times. But overall it was a wonderful experience.

Great stay!

Truly enjoyed our long weekend at Sleepy Creek Retreat. Cabin was cozy and furnished with everything we needed. Plenty of seating on the deck and screened in porch. We had one day of rain but stayed out on screened in porch all day. Front porch also very nice with the swing and rockers. Plenty of towels in the bathroom (linens were in great condition). Cabin was clean. Definitely want to return! Peaceful weekend!

No kids allowed

Great weekend away with no kids. We enjoyed walking around the property. The stone path to the water was a huge plus. Nice and relaxing sitting in the hot tub and watching the water and wildlife. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was low on chemicals and someone came out right away to fix it. We will definitely return to this cabin.

Weekend getaway

Berkeley Springs Cottage Rentals was wonderful to work with. The cabin had all the amenities we needed for a little weekend getaway. Directions were detailed and made this hidden cabin easy to find. We were close enough to all the attractions but out of the hustle and bustle. The location is stunning and we can’t wait to come back in the spring.

Fun winter hideaway!

Enjoyed a wonderful, quiet snowy weekend, with the valley all to ourselves! Property was cozy, with all the right amenities for a winter weekend. And they plowed the road out in plenty of time for us to depart right on schedule! One tip - run the dishwasher when you plan to be away (it's loud :-) ).

Sleepy Creek Retreat - just what we needed!

This lovely cabin and setting were just what we needed to unwind! The setting is serene- no noise, no other people. No problems with Wi-Fi, hot tub was delightful. Next time we’ll come back in spring or summer so we can enjoy eating on the screened in porch, or hanging out on the front porch.

Beautiful site, excellent lodging

Sleepy Creek exceeded our expectations. It's a lovely cottage with magnificent views, privacy, peaceful and relaxing, and outstanding amenities. Very clean and well maintained. The outdoor areas are spectacular. A lovely long covered front porch area with nice outdoor furniture. The rear large deck overlooks Sleepy Creek, with a paving stone walkway down to the creek, and a beautiful large lot offering privacy, spectacular views and tall trees everywhere. Lots of windows/glass doors offering views from the inside as well. There is a large gas fireplace. The rear deck offers a large open deck and hot tub, and a large, well furnished screened area with a gas grill, a large glass-topped dining table, and ample chairs and lounges. Also a nice outside fire pit, with wood supplied. The interior is well designed, with clerestory windows, and two comfortable sleeping areas. The efficient kitchen has all you need: A good sized refrigerator, double sink, efficient stove and oven, and top quality microwave. All flatware, cookware, and utensils are supplied and of good quality. Only hiccups were some fallen branches blocking the narrow road about a quarter mile from the cabin. We called the property manager and they sent out someone in 15 minutes to clear the road. We also had difficulty opening the key lock box. Kind of sticky. It took us about 5 minutes to get it open to get inside. We took our dog and he enjoyed the many walks we took. Very quiet and peaceful. Truly relaxing. And our GPS worked great; it took us right to the property. We will definitely come back.
