The cabin had lots of open space in living and kitchen areas which worked well since we were preparing a big family meal. The hot tub was nice in the evening. The host was very helpful. The 3 bedrooms were great for couples. The 1 room which had multiple bunk like beds were cramped. Consider these for children only.

We had a great time with our kids (both furry and human) at your cozy cabin! Everything was as expected except the details include a fire pit which was not available. Hiking trails were fun and it was conveniently located but the star was your view from your deck.

This is a good house for those who want many bedrooms and bathrooms, all of which are of a good size. The best part is the screened in porch, and the hot tub is a plus as well. However, the content of the house are very basic -old towels and sheets, for example- and the basement, which has 3 of the bedrooms, always smelled damp, even though the house was clean. Walls are very thin. The neighborhood is lovely.

Very serene location in a resort community. House was spacious and well equipped with anything you would want. Great wifi. Very nice grill for our group to have a fun dinner. We never even got to try the community pool The area is an absolute gem with eclectic shops and spectacular views. The state park is a short drive away and well worth an afternoon on a clear day.Overall, I would recommend this property and use it again. The only MINOR tweaks I would suggest are upgraded mattresses (just not my style) and adding a K-cup coffee maker.

Family Vacation 2025

Very spacious for our large group. Plenty of space to put our groceries. Nice open area to hang out. The kids loved the pool of course and the hot tub. We visited Antietam and Harpers Ferry. Water park is 45 minutes away but well worth the drive.

Our family spent a couple days at the cabin and had a great time. The cabin location was great… a quick drive to downtown and walking distance to the pool and brewery/restaurant. The cabin itself was very nice and had everything we needed.

Nice Escape

Loved all the natural lighting, a beautiful wooded veiw from the deck especially and 3 sliding doors with access to the deck from every room, leading to a screend porch enclosure. My dogs loved it and I knew they were safe and not wander off.

This cabin is ideal for a family gathering. It is near Berkeley Springs, and the community has a lovely pool. If you are planning on cooking meals for a large group, you might want to bring a large kettle to use in addition to the cook ware that is there for cooking pasta ,corn on the cob, etc.

Nice spot

The living room was a bit dusty and some food items from the last guests were left behind. Overall it was an okay stay. I had a few questions/concerns I had messaged the host about and it took until the next day sometimes to get an answer. I would stay again but wish I would have had a more direct way to contact the host.

Last minute getaway

This is our second trip to Berkley Springs but our first time staying at this property! We are very happy we decided to try out a different house because this one is absolutely WONDERFUL! So much more room than the last property we stayed at! Communicate from the host was great and the property is very well maintained! Incredibly close to the community pool! Within walking distance! Wish we could have taken advantage of the hot tub but Mother Nature decided to make it the hottest week ever! High recommend this property!

Not as described

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with several elements of our stay that we believe other renters should be made aware of. While I reached out to the owners several times via the VRBO app and phone while at the house, we never received any communication from the owners during our stay other than “automated” emails about check in and check out and asking for 5-star reviews. We reached out because the house was advertised as having access to a swimming pool and we asked about it in advance of arriving. We came to find out that the owner needed to provide guest passes. We could not find any in the house and when we reached out, we received no communication back. This was disappointing as having access to a swimming pool was a main reason we chose the home. Also, the downstairs portion of the house is not renovated like upstairs. It is damp and musty and in need of a humidifier. That should be an easy fix and will have a positive impact on the furnishings which had wear and tear from the humidity. We did enjoy our time hiking and biking in Cacapon state park and found the downtown of Berkeley Springs charming.

Memorial Day weekend family vacation

This cabin in the woods near Coolfont in Berkeley Springs, WV was exceptionally clean, comforting, and welcoming. It was easy to find, easy to get to, and we really enjoyed our stay. Huge shout out to the host who was very responsive to all my questions. I would stay there again.
