This beautiful chalet offers a classic mountain feel with excellent ski-out access and a lovely, lighted walking path to the village. The home is well-suited for groups, featuring a high-end kitchen, a dining table that comfortably fits ten, and thoughtful touches like three fridges and a brand-new BBQ. The views are stunning, and the two-sided fireplace creates a wonderful atmosphere, though you must provide your own firewood.Unfortunately, our stay was marred by poor maintenance and management. The driveway was a sheet of ice and the main entrance was completely blocked by snow upon arrival. Despite multiple requests, the path was never cleared, forcing us to use the garage or track snow through a basement bedroom. Management (Vacasa) told us it was our responsibility to buy salt and sand, which was a major safety concern for our elderly mother and family member on crutches. We also experienced several unannounced visits from hot tub staff who entered without knocking.Inside, the home needed a deeper clean as the ceiling fans and beams were very dusty. Potential guests should note that the bunk beds are smaller than standard twins (not suitable for teens/adults) and one bedroom layout partially blocks the bathroom door. While the house itself is gorgeous with a great laundry room and layout, the lack of basic property maintenance and "do-it-yourself" service from management was disappointing for a premium rental.
