Great location for town, free parking nearby by Lidl, very good tips from Benjamin, apartment as per listing, steep stairs may not be suitable for some, very pleasant terrace

Great location! Right downtown in walking distance of everything. Well equipped kitchen. Very nice host who came to greet us and offered suggestions for sightseeing. Free parking nearby at Lidl. There are many maps and flyers for wine tours, castles and abbeys in the house. Besides the beds in the two bedrooms there are a futon couch and foldout chair mattress for kids or not so tall adults. Would stay there again.

It was as described, and we loved the top floor patio. The kitchen was stocked full of appliances, dishes etc. and even had some condiments and coffee pods. The only tiny drawback was that the door was a challenge to unlock.

Great Location!

The home was well maintained and clean. The manager provided great restaurant recommendations and the location could not be beat! Overall a great experience.

Wonderful stay in the centre of Beaune!

Our host was accommodating and welcoming. The space was well equipped and comfortable for 4 people, the beds too were very comfortable. Located in the centre of town, we simply stepped out our door and into the cobblestone streets:). We highly recommend!

City center with attentive host

The apartment was comfortable and the AC was much appreciated during the hot days of July. The host was responsive by phone and even took us to the train station because taxis and buses are NON EXISTENT! Be sure to drive to Beaune when you visit this charming property.

Wonderful stay for four...

A very nice property and gracious host. Everything about the property was first class and functioned very well. We even cooked a fine Italian dinner in one night using the well equipped kitchen. The owner obviously takes great care of the place. The place accommodates two couples very well, with both having their own fully private spaces. Also, the host met us on arrival and was very helpful and accommodating throughout the visit. We would definitely come again.

Beaune at your doorstep

Benjamin is a great host. Met us at the train and introduced us to Gites de Remparts. A superb location and a beautiful apartment. All the amenities as per the listing. The rooftop veranda is without compare. And Benjamin has an outstanding knowledge of Burgundian history and the great wines of the region. I highly recommend a stay at this grear VRBO.

BEAUTIFUL

Such a cozy place, everything is spotless. The bed was vey comfortable. Our host came to visit us upon our request to inquire about places to see and restaurants too. Benjamin was extremely helpful, had a great time just talking with him. I would return back to his property in a heart beat. The town was exciting, lots of history. Make no mistake, ya gotta go to his place.

Great location!

This apartment was perfect for our Burgundy stay. We walked everywhere in town and on the outskirts too. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and the rooftop deck is attractive and has a nice rooftop view. Free, patrolled, parking (Bretonnière) is a 7 minute walk. There’s a closer lot, Louis Very, that we used to walk our luggage from-since a car was blocking the tiny alley the apartment faces. The host was kind and accommodating and came by to orient us. Washer and dryer are great! Note that there are shower rooms up and down but the toilet is downstairs. All modern nice. Beds comfy. We’d stay there again! Easy driving to so many things in the region and Beaune is a delightful town.

In the heart of Beaune

My husband and I stayed here after a 2 week car trip in France. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the city, walking distance to everything. It was very convenient to have access to a washer and dryer. The beds and bathrooms were clean but the kitchen could use a little attention. Dry goods and other foods left on counters and cupboards.(ie. 3 partially used olive oil bottles) uses up all the little counter space there is. Although there are 2 ‘bathrooms’ (sink &shower) there is only one toilet and it is downstairs. Anyone using the upper bedroom will need to go down the spiral staircase to the toilet. A little difficult communicating with the host. We were given wrong code to the key box but things were resolved. You can pull your car up to the door in an alleyway and back it out. As stated there is a free city parking a 15-min walk away. Would consider staying here again.

Skønt med fuld funktionsdygtigt køkken og dejlige badeværelser.Tagterrassen er super til udendørs hygge. Stuen er lidt lille, men fungerer når man kun er to.Internettet faldt ud, og dermed også tv’et. Udlejer var lidt svær at få fat i, men da vi først fik fat i ham fandt han en god midlertidig løsning indtil teknikeren kunne komme og lave forbindelsen.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre court séjour. Benjamin Lepoutre a été très attentionné et serviable : il a réparé la serrure de la porte dès le lendemain. La terrasse est magnifique et offre une belle vue. La seule chose mentionnée dans l’annonce mais qui n’était pas présente est le whirlpool. Cependant, cela n’a pas posé de problème pour nous, car nous avions d’autres projets de toute façon. Un grand merci pour tout!
