Very nice place for a weekend getaway. Great location for walking to town and close to many attractions. Hosts were very responsive to queries we had.

The place was beautiful. We used the fireplace both nights. Beds were very comfortable. Host was very accommodating and communicative. Check in and out process was very easy. Would 100% stay here again.

The host was very responsive & welcoming. The cabin exactly as shown. Was beautiful, and clean. It did have some huge ants in the kitchen area, but that’s expected. My only suggestion is that they provide ant or bug spray & also cleaning product to clean counter tops. Just know that when you go out the door from dining room out to front porch that the door automatically locks behind you. I got locked out, so it was a good thing somebody was inside and heard me knocking loudly too get back in. So I had to leave the door open a little bit every time I went out to enjoy the front porch. I highly recommend this Cabin! It’s everything you would expect. And the host was such a pleasure to deal with.

Very clean inside. That's the best I can say. The deck had not been cleaned in a LONG time and had metal pieces from the broken gutter laying around. I had to sweep it myself it was so bad. The spider webs on the lamp by the front door could have been out of a vampire movie. The internet is a joke. Could not get through a Netflix without it freezing multiple times. We gave up. Same with trying to get wifi on our devices; not happening. The house is in a neighborhood that is not that quiet. One neighbor running his ATV around while another was target practicing with his rifle. Could see three houses from the deck. Back door leading to a small deck was broken. Front door leading to the deck would not close properly. Bathroom heater not working but had a small portable there. Even the lock on the front door would not work when we checked out (probably dead battery). I've stayed in homes all over the world and enjoyed 99% of them. Not this one. And unfortunately, all these things would take no time at all to remedy. Unforced errors. But! The inside was clean!

It was a nice little cabin, cozy and clean as described. A nice, personalized sign greeted me adn there was a basket of snacks and plenty of coffee and tea. Some things like door to rear porch and smart locks were in need of repair, nothing major. The driveway is extremely steep and with black ice it was not accessible with my frontwheel drive van.

Our family was very comfortable in this home. We did not use the kitchen, though it appeared well appointed. We appreciated the washer and dryer (only the dryer) after playing in the snow we dried the warm clothes we brought for coaster riding at Wilderness Run (so fun!). Garage parking was definitely a plus, especially for loading and unloading the car! The radiator heaters were a little noisy at night, but we were warm and comfortable. Lisa was very responsive to our messages and very kind!

The home was lovely and very welcoming, and Lisa was so responsive to any questions we had. The location is great to downtown Banner Elk and hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The kitchen is very well stocked and we were able to use the washer/dryer. Check in and check out requests were very well communicated.

Perfect mountain getaway for our family (kids age 6&9). The location was great and perfect spot to get to both sugar mountain and beech mountain. The home was very comfortable and cozy, and it had all the amenities we needed. Movie nights by the fireplace were our favorite part. The host was wonderful—very responsive and easy to work with. We will be back!

Perfect location! Cabin was very clean, ready to occupy ahead of check-in time. Host responded quickly to us when had a question or need assistance and was so helpful. We appreciated the fireplace & firewood that was provided. We definitely will come again.

We had a great stay. The house was clean and had all of the amenities needed for a short or long stay. The location was perfect, close to all nearby restaurants and hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the owners Lisa and Frank were easily accessible and great hosts.
