Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All the staff are polite and accommodating. There are a number of excellent restaurants/street food outlets within walking distance. The Silom Complex shopping centre is just a 10 minute walk away. Transport-wise, Sala Daeng BTS and Silom MRT are similarly a 10 minute walk making it easy to travel eg to/from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Don Muang Airport (DMK), and anywhere else you might want to go. Highly recommend.

Bangkok is getting more difficult for me in many places, in general I've booked stays at the Tarntawong because Surawong Rd remains balanced in the presence of extremes. I remembered to leave a review because I thought of something about the girl at breakfast I think is right to say. I think that she's finely made. I mentioned to her one morning that I like the midcentury modern things in Bangkok.

All good. One comment though re service: Thought guests would have submitted personal details during check-in . Would be a nice touch if they can wish guests who are celebrating their birthdays during stay . Was there on 21 Aug,( my birthday, but no acknowledgement . Not expecting gifts or freebies , just a nice happy birthday wish would add some joy. Unfortunate as I thought this would add a homey feel to the stay. Notwithstanding, service is still great and would make it go up another notch .
