Good hotel but front desk staff were most unhelpful. Had a nightmare with the check in having been given the run around for over 2 hours and met the most unfriendly person we’ve ever come across in Thailand - lady at the front desk (didn’t get her name- tall with long hair) With so many great options in Bangkok, this place needs to up its service game. The rest of the staff were fantastic especially the concierge desk.

We recently enjoyed a very 5 star experience at Oriental Residence. The staff clearly enjoy working there as everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive to all our needs. The hotel is in a peaceful area situated beside Embassies surrounded by tropical gardens. An easy walk to a BTS station and many great shopping malls and dining options. The king size bed in our luxurious suite even came with a pillow menu however the bed was perfect as supplied. Attention to detail was obvious, even the bath robes were next level. I have no hesitation in recommending this gem of a hotel to anyone and look forward to my return visit in February.
