House worked out great for our family. It was tucked away and quiet, and having two carts was excellent. It was the perfect place to go and just be still. No agenda, no schedule, just peaceful. Hosts were very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the stay.

The house was the perfect size for our family of four and two grandparents! The location was perfect, just a short golf cart ride to the Shoals club and East Beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the amenities such as beach chairs, tents, towels, and games were excellent. The property manager was very responsive and quick to help us when issues arose, for which we were very grateful. Our only negative feedback is that the house could use some TLC in the way of clean bedspreads, throw pillows, and other upholstered items, such as dining room chairs, living room furniture, and overall deep cleaning.

Wonderful time!

Simply put - this is a great house in a great location. This was the seventh different property we have rented on Bald Head and it stands out as our favorite.The house is remarkably quiet and secluded with just a short stroll to the beach and excellent walking/biking opportunities right out of the front door.We found so many more amenities available to us than we anticipated - a pleasant and welcome surprise!

Perfect Get-away

Been coming to BHI for 25 years, it never disappoints even in August - temps in mid-80s. The house was as described and in the Cape Fear Station area so minutes from several beaches. Everything worked, golf carts and house were great.

Amazing Vacation!

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of space, super clean, fully equipped with everything we needed and an amazing location. It was so much fun to take the golf carts and bikes around and explore the island. Highly recommend!!

Great location - clean and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay - it is close to our favorite beach access and very close to the conservancy and shoals club. The two golf carts were convenient to have and it was super clean. We thought the hosts were thoughtful and had more items for us to use than we've had in previous stays. They had a lot of spices and bowls for cooking. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would recommend this property!

Wonderful house

We loved everything about Stroll to Shoals - the property was clean, convenient and well-stocked with all the kitchen and beach supplies we needed. The owner's were extremely responsive at every step...thank you for a lovely BHI vacation.

Great spot in Baldhead

Great spot to spend a relaxing week in Baldhead. Owners were very responsive to a few minor questions that we had and were really helpful in booking our transport and helping with club memberships. House had everything that we needed and plenty of things (bikes, chairs, tents, toys) to make the stay enjoyable

Perfect BHI Spot!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house because we love it! The set up is great and allows each group of kids and adults to gather separately or together. The location is awesome - quick trip to the market or the beach. We had everything we needed for a wonderful time!

Stroll to Shoals!

Our family loved the stay at Stroll to Shoals. Perfect location to bike/walk to Shoals beach club, east beach accesses and turtle conservancy/mike's bites. Communication throughout with the property managers Edie and Katie was excellent. Property and amenities well kept up and my mother loved that she had her own suite with extra cold A/C. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect escape

We enjoyed our stay so very much! The living space was comfortable and we enjoyed cooking together, working puzzles, and a movie night. Our three girls enjoyed hanging out in the second bedroom as a click and our 17 year old young man enjoyed space in the crofter. All was in working order, communication was amazing. All in all an A+ stay.
