Buxton Crescent
3/5 Okay
"The hotel was fine but definitely not of the standard I would expect from a usual Champneys venue. Rooms felt a bit dated, especially the dining area. The food was very average and we ended up cancelling our evening reservation as it looked far too expensive for what was on offer. I have found other Champneys are known for their healthy and tasty food.
Small touches were missing such as someone offering to take our luggage on arrival and charging £30 for valet parking. They also charged £10 if you wanted cutlery sent up to your room.
The spa was nice enough and the spa staff were friendly.
Overall I didn't feel this stay was value for money and wouldn't return to this Champneys hotel."
