This "Lovely private suite" is ANYTHING BUT a "serene space." I left without staying it was disgusting and I did NOT feel safe. Accessing the room, I walked along the side of the house: screen off the window, empty small propane bottle on the ground, broken fence exposing to the neighbor's yard, open bag of fertilizer, stained gross patio chair and concrete. Entering the room, I scraped my leg on the rusty bed frame that was sticking out. I tried just to tuck it back but then it stuck out another way. Then I noticed it was happening on the other side too. The bed obviously did not fit the frame. The bed skirt was dirty and stained. The curtains to cover the sliding glass door were a joke. Looking above the slider, the crescent window was roughly covered with paper that was falling off. Two positives, the bathroom was clean and the host was quick to respond in the message system. However, the owner is not working with me on a refund. I was willing to pay for the day I entered the property and pay the cleaning fee. I just wanted my two nights back. I tried to gracefully leave without tearing her property apart, just saying it did not meet my expectations. That turned around to hurt me because I did not identify the problems with the property.
