Cozy cabin but needs work
Overall it was nice for what we needed. We could be loud (group of friends meeting) and not bother anyone. Surroundings was absolutely beautiful. However, there were a few things I wish I knew. 1. There is mold in the ceiling over both the showers. The carpet across the whole cabin felt damp, so we spent some time trying to run the AC to get the humidity out of it. 2. To check in, we had to walk through a restaurant. Not a huge deal, just caught me off guard because it felt rather fancy and we were gross from the 8 hour car ride. Hoping that would more just give the next people a heads up. Check out was also confusing as the restaurant was closed so I left my key with another guests keep that I found outside the restaurant and messaged the host. 3. We had two cars stop and people get out at the front of our cabin (where our cars were). One around midnight and one around 3 am. The next morning I found a cigarette placed in my car's grill like it was smoking (that no one noticed the night before and it was neatly in there). I'm not sure if it was security or someone looking for trouble. Our cars were locked and nothing else came of it, but it was off-putting. The area was beautiful. I just wanted to give a heads up to the next guests.
3 of us stayed here overnight. Quiet, rustic, just what we wanted.

It's EXACTLY What You Expect... And Better!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful. Even better... It's actually a cabin. It's not a tract house with a bunch of cutesy junk on the walls. It's an honest, purpose-built cabin. Walls are made of wood, the setting is stunning (in the woods where you can hear the trout stream), and you're set away from other properties.
The kitchen is well stocked. The water pressure is good in the shower. You get hotel-style toiletries (no gross old bottles of Suave!). The beds are more comfortable than you'll get at an upper upscale chain business hotel. The wi-fi works. The TV has lots of channels. There's an honest, real, wood burning fireplace And the grill outside is SUPER clean and works perfectly.
The location is kind of amazing, too. You're VERY convenient to the east side suburbs of Cleveland. The property is literally 1-3 minutes from a highway, gas, multiple grocery stores, restaurants, frozen custard, and all of the accoutrements of suburban life, but you feel like you're way out in the middle of the northwoods -- and it's quiet like that.
Put simply, if you want a cabin experience on the east side of Cleveland, this is the ONLY place to stay.

Nice Cabin
The cabin was great for the 4 of us. Large spaces for the group and the beds were nice and comfortable. The grounds are very cool with multiple ponds and a waterfall. Great that the fireplace was stocked with firewood.
