Updated, good-sized room. Friendly staff. Pool looked nice even though we didn’t have time to enjoy it. Parking near door to room. Pillows were small and square shaped. Thin comforter. Would have been nice to have a blanket. One, small bar soap to share between the sink and shower. Wall mount blow dryer too far from mirror. Could have been a little cleaner/better maintained overall.

So, the front desk person was friendly and the room was pretty clean for positives. Negatives: bed cover had stains, pillows were tiny, not normal size. Shower head was very loose and very little water pressure because the majority of the water was still coming through tub spigot. Overall, it was an ok room. Hotel isn't near anything, so that was inconvenient. The one thing that made this experience bad was that each morning at 8am, the cleaning staff would be yelling back and forth, laughing and talking all morning and it woke us up both days. We got in late both nights and wanted to sleep but they were talking right at our door since it was near the office and yelling back and forth. Just not a good experience...especially for $125/ night.

The room was clean but the sheets and pillow cases were very sticky. It was gross feeling. I don’t know what was up with that but I had two queen beds and both set of sheets were very sticky. Gross!!!

Could use improvement in many areas

For a Ramada, it wasn’t terrible for a quick one night stay. However…when I checked in I stood inside for over 10 minutes with no rep in sight and no phone answered before someone walked in the front door to help. The a/c and fridge worked so that was a plus. Beds aren’t the most comfortable and pillow cases were filthy, luckily we always bring our own pillows and blankets. The room was clean for the most part but the bathroom was ick. We saw a few German roaches on the nights stand in the middle of the night so naturally it weirded me out. The fire alarm went off three different times at random in the middle of the night and woke everyone, including the baby, so there was very little sleep. I did let the front desk girl know in the am and she said that she would have it fixed. Breakfast was decent and the employees were all kind. The location is on the good side of town and very close to the town square and walking river path.
