Renfu is a terrific host. Very accommodating and friendly.The house is great and can accommodate a big group. If you are looking for a beautiful spot to stay in or near prescott, this is the one.

My family and I stayed a week here and really enjoyed it! There was definitely enough space for all of us, and we appreciated having central air on the hotter days. Check in was easy enough, with the key pad entry. The kitchen was well stocked with most things anyone would need, including BBQ tools. The water cooler was a very nice touch! The livingroom and game room were both comfy spots to relax, but we spent a good amount of our time on the front deck, enjoying the weather and beautiful view! Bed linens and towels were provided. We brought our dogs and cat with us which was a huge bonus. The dogs loved going with us across the road to the small, rocky beach. Being able to dock and keep my boat here would have made this rental even better. Unfortunately, it’s a straight dock (not an L), and between there only being about 3.5 foot of water on the one side of the dock, and the other side being rocky, I didn’t feel comfortable doing so. For planning purposes-bring washcloths (if you use them) as they aren’t provided, bug spray, citronella candles and mosquito coils are a must! The mosquitos were bad for a couple hours each night. If you plan on baking, bring measuring cups, and a whisk. There are curtains-no blinds on the windows, so if you have a little one who goes to bed before it’s dark, you may want to consider that when packing. Also, there are 2 TVs-one in the livingroom, and another upstairs in the bedroom with the queen and double beds.

The stay was great. Very hospitable, farm fresh eggs. Many beds to choose from and everything was really simple and convenient. I think the only thing that through us off was having to cross the road to get to the water but that’s on us for not looking ahead. All and all, we really enjoyed our stay and I would stay again.

Cozy, clean, calm, cottage with canoes! We stayed here once two summers ago and my son asked us about it this year, prompting us to plan another getaway. We booked two nights for us and our friends with their toddler. We spent the whole time in or around the house or the beach, relaxing. Kayaking on the river and seeing the goats are highlights each time. Renfu is very hospitable, answering all our questions and keeping the grounds tidy. We cooked using the barbecue and kitchen, and enjoyed! The game room was a hangout space for my kids and as an extra nice touch the house has some other indoor activities for children which my little ones loved. We hope to come back!

A wonderful experience

My three sisters and I had not been together in many years, and we gathered here for our reunion. My first impression was that the house was so clean, and large! Everything we needed was there. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the walk to the river is short. You can see the St. Lawrence from all the windows. What a treat it was to rise early and do yoga looking out the window. The beds are super comfortable, I slept so well. I recommend this property to anyone planning a family gathering. There is room for many people.

Friend and family get together

We had a lovely stay! Our week started with a group of friends for a reunion. There was lots for everyone in our group to do including playing in the water and wandering the property. The kids enjoyed watching the chickens!The next part of the week my parents and brother joined us. We had a wonderful and relaxing time watching the freighters go by on the river! Thank you!

Very clean, large home with a south facing deck overlooking the St. Lawrence. Large, well equipped kitchen with everything a family needs. Quiet and comfortable.

Family Visit

Our group has stayed at this house twice now to visit family nearby. The property and the house are beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed and then some. The host is lovely and easy to get ahold of. We will be staying here again!

Our group of eight adults stayed here while visiting nearby family. The home was perfect. The beds were comfortable. There was enough space for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped. And we enjoyed visiting and feeding the sheep out back.

Great Dive Weekend!

Excellent location and home for our dive group. Nice big kitchen and private rooms. The front deck was large enough for everyone to dry their dive gear. Will be booking again. The owners popped over to make sure everything was to standards. Very pleased.

Family Vacation

We very much enjoyed our family weekend on this property. The house was very comfortable and very well equipped with anything we needed. The kitchen was very large, wonderful for family meals.. The outdoor space was amazing. A very large fenced in yard and also a private beach for swimming and kayaking (kayaks were provided). We would definitely rent again.

Super comfy and well kept home across the st from river

We had a great time here with our family. The home is very well kept and spacious, very large yard to play in. The host was super responsive and nice and actually came around to tend to the property grounds and answer questions a few times during our stay. The only thing is we were surprised to find the water access is actually outside the home, and you need to cross a road to get to it. It's not far but it's not clear from the photos. That is also the only place to have a fire, so we ended up not doing that. I would also *Highly* recommend swimmers to get water shoes because the shore is all rocks. There are lifejackets of various sizes and a couple kayaks and a canoe so it's really fun. The town center is very close so enjoyable for a stroll, ice cream fort tour, etc Thanks for everything!

Beautiful home in Prescott

Renfu was very nice and accomodating and could be easily reached and responded quickly. The place is beautiful and even though the meteo was not at it's best, we were still able to use the canot and kayaks to go on the river. We had a great time.
