You’ll be surrounded by birdsong, weka, tui, keruru, kookaburra and kiwi. At dusk there will be wallabies nibbling the lawn. Sit on the private deck, and look out over Bon Accord Harbour across to the Kawau Boating Club where fellow boaties and islanders will be having a cold beverage or a delicious meal. Walk down the driveway and you can run and jump off a the wharf to cool off or relax on the beach. Afterwards you may decide to walk to Mansion House to the cafe or take a picnic to the Copper Mine and explore. Kawau Island is very unique and we’re sure you’ll love your stay in our home.

Family weekend away

Overall there are was wonderful views from the deck and walks around the island were lovely.The batch is not really toddler friendly or young children. The batch has quite a few of owners things in it and the drive up is very steep so carring baggage and small children is pretty challenging. It would been good to have clearer instructions for a few things in the house.

Loved every moment

A true slice of paradise, so relaxing sitting on the deck watching and hearing the native birds. We wish we could've stayed for longer. Thanks for the experience!
