Great location and view but disappointing

The living area and bedrooms were clean and tidy, however the bathroom plumbing was well under par and the kitchen wasn’t clean in some areas. The view and location of the apartments was excellent.

Dreadful communication

This is a property management company that has many apartments in Auckland. The key access etc is very complicated and they send automated messages that have nothing to do with reality. We received an email with instructions which advised that the key could be collected at 2.30. We have made plans accordingly given the key collection is a few blocks from the apartment. The night before we get an email advising the collection time is 4pm. I emailed stating that wasn't acceptable but didn't get a reply. Went to collect the key and of course it wasn't there - they asked us to wait 30 minutes!! We had a meeting so had to come back. Cost us 2 x taxi rides. They offered late check out but when we asked then to confirm in writing it took 2 phone calls and 2 emails to get them to confirm. The room itself is okish. The bedrooms are tiny with no AC. The area is noisy so couldn't have the windows open. i suppose you get what you pay for - it's cheap but not worth the hassle.

Good view

Pretty ordinary apart from the views. Substandard furnishings. The framed pictures were rejects from the op shop. WIth only 15 cms between the bed and the window, it was anything but spacious. The toilet leaked. The place needed a good scrub. But the view made up for it all.

The view is truly spectacular, but, for us, it didn't really make up for the noise from the surrounding area at night. There are many bars and clubs in the area and they don't close till 4am. The first night we stayed was a Tuesday and it wasn't bad, just the sound of bottles being collected at 4.30. Last night (Wed) was dreadful between 11pm and 4 am. Didn't hear music, just many, many drunk people yelling and hollering on the street to which both bedroom windows face. Very, very noisy, even though we were so high up. Ended up sleeping in the living room which was much quieter. If you are visiting for a concert or to go out in the area, it probably wouldn't bother you too much, but it wasn't good for us with two kids. Also surprised to see direct and easy access to the three small, narrow balconies, again not the best when you have kids and you're on the 23rd floor. The apartment was clean, but needs more attention to detail - light bulbs burned out, cracked mirror, only 2 bowls in the kitchen, not enough outlets for tv, wifi, lamp, and dvr to be run from the same spot. Parking is very tight in the area, but the covered Wilson parking building just around the corner on Fort St is $18 for overnight parking till 8am, which is pretty reasonable for Auckland. (The uncovered Tournament parking lot, also on Fort St, is $32 overnight). Would love to be able to rate this higher, but it just didn't work for us overall.

Fabulous view. Very limited help. No parking.

The view is fabulous as promised in apt 23C. There is no parking on site. Parking offsite is painful. Getting the key is inconvenient - you have to go to Albert st only from 2:30-4: pm. So if you have a lot of luggage, it can be a pain. We only got 1 key which is access to the building and elevators. Apartment size is plenty for a family of 4 with gorgeous views of the harbor and the sky tower. But be aware that there is no front desk to help you- you are on your own. Wifi password provided only worked that day till midnight. Major inconvenience the next 18 hours for us until the management answered our phone all to give us instructions to hook up the router/,power to get wifi restored with a different password. We were informed to contact them through WhatsApp but without wifi we went to a cafe to message them buttheg were too busy to respond. There is a convenient store downstairs and plenty of eateries close by. There is a kitchen, washer dryer. But all the saucepans were old, stained and dirty. Hand wash only, no dishwasher. Most plates and cups were chipped. Great view, 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each + living area, dining nook with seating for 4.

Room definitely has incredible views but the overall room could use a little updating. Wall mirror in one room was cracked. Also would be nice to provide more than 1 key. A 2 bedroom place you would expect more then 1 key
