Overall, we really liked our stay. We were even closer to the boardwalk than I realized, which was great! The rollercoasters were right across from us but they were off before we went to bed and our bedroom was in the back so we really didn’t hear it back there anyway. Definitely not a future deterrent. It could’ve been a little cleaner. There were ants out in the living room. When I went to call the front desk about it, the phone didn’t work. I called from my cell and they brought ant baits up but the problem persisted into the next day. There was also a lot of hair around the tub in the bathroom. Idk if there was supposed to be but there was no coffee for the morning despite there being a pot and filters. Despite the cleanliness hiccups, though, as a mom, the location was great and the room was nice otherwise and would stay again.

Basic cleanliness was done. Floors were never swept or mopped. The bottoms of our feet were black from the dirt. The area was perfect and convenient for the beach and boardwalk. Front desk was great when dealing with the one person who cares about the guest. The other person was not friendly and seemed to not care for helping people.

Relaxing stay…

We tried for an early check in but our room wasn’t available, however the staff was very accommodating and allowed us to use the parking lot and gave us our beach tags early while our room was being prepared. That’s really what we needed most at the time. Excellent location, very convenient. Don’t worry about being near the amusement park. It shut down at 11 and the police clear the boardwalk. It was nice having the bedroom separate from the living room where the pullout coach was. Very satisfied with our stay.

Great location; wouldn’t stay again

Location is fantastic, located right behind the boardwalk stores in the middle of the busiest part and also close to lots of off-boardwalk stores and restaurants. Beaches in OC can be small, but 10th street is a decent size. Loved having a kitchenette. The room was basic. Beds, both the king in the bedroom and the pull out couch, were rather uncomfortable. The facility, while mostly clean, is definitely aging. There are bits of stucco falling off the exterior beams in places. We were initially given a room with a ceiling leak in the bathroom. The staff was fantastic and moved us immediately but still not sure how anyone would have missed that, since it was dripping water on the toilet. The rollercoaster across the street is quite loud; the park closes at 11 so it could be an issue for some. We visited mid-August, pretty much still prime summer, but the parking lot was mostly empty. There is a guaranteed spot for each unit, but pulling in and out in a larger SUV, truck, or minivan is very tight. Overall, stay was fine. Would have been unhappy to pay full price and won’t stay here again but had a nice few days.

Great stay. Less than a block from the boardwalk and beach. My grandkids loved this trip. Would definitely recommend it and will be back for another trip. Will be booking for more than one night next time

The only issue was the parking because there’s not enough spaces for the amount of rooms. I went out for the day and came back and had to park all the way down the road and walk.

The property was ok. The room could’ve been cleaner. The sofa bed was full of crumbs when we took the cushions off and we found more under the blinds. For a family of four checking in the room came with two towels. If there were more we never found them. The elevator works but made me nervous every time we used it. The location is ideal if you want to be in the middle of it all.
