The hotel was charming. Beautiful setting right on the bay. Wonderful waterfront bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor space on the water. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean with a view of the water and little stairway off our balcony to the rooftop deck. Owner was welcoming and friendly. Would defenitely stay here again.

There was a mistake and we didn't get the room that was booked, but the replacement was acceptable and the owner stepped up with a discount for the trouble. The rooms mattress was as old as the Tavern, but the drinks at the bay front bar took care of getting to sleep. Overall, convenient to everything needed for a nice weekend. Has a new owner so I'm sure they will get the kinks out..that's a back joke from the bed..

Owner was very pleasant as was the staff. This is an OK place, but we were paying a lot. The bed did not have a mattress cover. The toilet paper was one ply. There was second mattress stuffed under the bed. Doors were locked at Tavern before 10 every night so we felt safe.
