Prior to arrival I received a text message welcoming me and to reply if I had any questions. I replied but did not receive a response. Check in and check out went smooth. That's the highlight of the entire 2-night trip.
TV did not work. Phone did not have a cable connected to it. Cockroach in room. Although only esthetics; the entire room and bathroom had patches in door and walls and several types of damage on furniture and walls.
Breakfast was not as displayed on the Orbitz site. Breakfast only had 3 food items: white bread, small cheap muffins and 2 types of cold cereal. The receptionist stated hot meals (waffles) were only during the weekends.
The early morning receptionist stated she had heard the cockroach complaint before but not the other issues. She said she could not help me with the room issues and the next employee would have to handle it. I had appointments to make and couldn't wait for the next employee.
Later that evening I spoke with the new receptionist and all she would offer me was to change rooms. I asked about a discount, and she said I had to bring in up with the Manager. She gave me a card for the manager (email only) and stated I needed to send an email. I was skeptical since I did not receive a response to my text the day before.
With only one night remaining, I felt it was too much trouble to have to pack everything up to move to another unknown room.
