The ABSOLUTE WORST experience
The post of the condo looked nice so we book this for my moms 60th birthday surprise. I had asked the host if we could check in early due to our flight arrival. I know sometimes this isn't possible so no biggie but never hurts to ask. The host said they could get us in 2 hours early but it would be a 50 charge which was ok but we had decided we would just wait and go grab lunch while we waited instead. Check in was supposed to be at 4 so we went to the house a little early so we could find it. We arrived at the house at 3:30 and I sent a message to the host to ask if there were any special check in instructions because I still hadn't heard from them. I received a message back saying "This property is no longer available as of today". I thought maybe they thought I was someone trying to rent it so I responding saying " no I've already paid for this rental. Just wondering how we check in" I then got a message saying they were issuing a refund because my payment wasn't received. Why would I get a refund if it wasn't paid? This was a holiday weekend and a special event weekend because the Braves were in town. We had to pay more for a hotel because of those reasons. It would have been nice to know ahead of time so we didnt have to go to multiple hotels trying to find somewhere to stay. The communication was terrible. The neighborhood was not great at all. And again they canceled MINUTES before our check in. I would NEVER recommend this place or person!!!!
