The name Mitzi’s didn’t instill confidence in me, it sounded a bit too “village” for my Greek culture. But it was super convenient for my early boat trip to the islands since it’s located exactly outside gate E7 at Pireaus Port. I was surprised to find the hotel being superb in every way. Very nice place with wonderful staff and a beautiful rooftop that serves nice cocktails and gourmet finger foods. I’ll go back to Mitsis anytime I have an early start for a boat trip. Can’t beat it.

Excellent hotel. Only stayed one night before catching a ferry but it’s new modern clean and luxurious. Staff very helpful and attentive. Lovely bar on roof with good cocktails and view of the port. Right next to gates 7&8 (3 min walk). At the port. Breakfast starting 6am when catching early ferry also a huge bonus (and coffee was good). Totally recommend.

Unfortunately when you think you’ve booked a room with two beds, you’re probably only getting one bed and a chair that opens to a twin bed and is very uncomfortable. That was a big disappointment.

We hit the jackpot when we booked our stay at Mitsis! The hotel is very walkable and a couple of blocks from the metro. The hotel is very clean, the restaurant was fabulous, and the entire staff was friendly, helpful and cheerful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great location…, close to the Metro Station (M2 & M3 lines). Clean rooms, spacious bathrooms, fantastic reception. Very good restaurant on site. Definitely will stay here again we decide to visit Athens again. Travel hack…. Save your money, stay here and take the Metro into Athens everyday.
