Just a few minutes drive from the lake, this charming log cabin is nestled on a private 3.2 acre wooded ridge (paved road) overlooking the beautiful mountains of Hickory Nut Gorge. This is the perfect getaway for those looking for a serene and natural atmosphere, while still only minutes from the beautiful resort town of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

The cabin offers two bedrooms and two baths with a futon and full bed on the lower level game room for additional sleeping. You will enjoy beautiful mountain views from the spacious wrap-around decks with gas grill, hammock, and rocking chairs. The full kitchen has everything you need for a romantic dinner for two or a family feast. The living room has a 32' television with satellite programming, DVD library, Wi-Fi Internet connection and a cozy gas fireplace.

After a busy day of sight-seeing, relax in the game room with Foosball, darts, a second TV/DVD player, board games & stereo.

The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils as well as a microwave, toaster and coffee bar. On pleasant afternoons you may choose to cook on the gas grill on the deck. You can enjoy your meal on the deck or at the oak dining table overlooking the deck through sliding doors.

The basement game room provides fun for all ages with a competition grade foosball table, darts and beautiful log bar. You can also step out on the lower deck and enjoy the views. This room also contains a futon and full bed for additional sleeping.

Our family of five had a great time at the cabin! The host was great and incredibly accommodating. I messaged him that the coffee pot wasn’t working; he had an extra one in the cabinet to utilize and then had a brand new one sent to the cabin a day later! The cabin was clean and very spacious! We especially loved having the fenced yard for our dogs; this is definitely not something that you typically see in the mountains.

We had an awesome stay at Silver Tree Cabin. It is so peaceful and quiet with the sound of nature all around you. We Loved sitting on the porch at night, listening to the crickets sing. Inside the cabin itself, it is very clean and comfortable as well as very well stocked. Wayne is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. He wasextra inviting, even to our furry babies that we were able to bring along with us (One is large in size) We were also welcomed with a special surprise for our anniversary, which I felt was so thoughtful. It warmed our hearts! Thank you so much for allowing us the enjoy your cabin and we hope to return soon!

RETURN TO SILVER TREE CABIN

We were excited for a longer return stay in Lake Lure.The cabin was just as we remembered it from 3 years ago - very comfy with everything we needed for a relaxing mountain area getaway! We loved being close to Ingles, and the Lake House and Canoe Restaurants. We also enjoyed visiting the Tryon Equestrian Center where some of the Chimney Rock Village shops were able to set up temporarily after the damages from Helene. This was our 4th trip to the Lake Lure Area. Cannot wait to come again in the Fall!
