We had an amazing family trip and truly loved our stay here. The property was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for spending quality time together. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable place to make special family memories. Crabtree Falls was absolutely beautiful, the hot tub was a wonderful way to unwind, and the arcades were a big hit with the kids. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to other families looking for a memorable getaway.

I don’t think we could have picked a better host! The home is quite unassuming from the street, but it screams welcome home as soon as you open the door. There is plenty of gathering space for family and lots of fun activities for the kids. The property is expansive and great for an outdoor game of hide and seek. We sat around the fire pit and roasted marshmallows one evening - another memory making moment for the kids. This is probably the cleanest rental we have ever been to. All my adult kids commented on how clean and fresh the linen was. The beds are super comfortable; the kitchen was equipped with nearly everything you need to cook for a large family; and the three full baths were extra clean! We could tell there was a lot of thought put into preparing the home - from the communication to the furniture choices and decor - this was an experience I would highly recommend!

The owner and property management went out of their way to make our stay super convenient and welcoming. The house was clean and the accommodations were absolutely perfect for our ski trip with 2 families, including 8 kids and 4 adults. The basement was perfect for the kids to stay busy with all the games and the adults relaced upstairs in silence while they enjoyed the games. The hot tub was amazing after skiing and helped us relax even further. I highly recommend this property for large families or groups.

This home with pool was perfect for our family. We were attending a wedding at the Lovingston Winery which was 7 minutes from the home. Very convenient and close to restaurants for dinner. The home was comfortable in size for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. The pool was larger than I expected and turned out to be a highlight of our stay. The pool house had a putting green that occupied many hours for the 3 year old future golfer . Overall our stay was very enjoyable! Kyle was also very good at communicating in regards to questions that I had. I am happy we chose this property!

Our recent stay at end of August provided incredible mountain views. The property is nestled in the heart of nature with great views. If you can, you will unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Communication with the hosts were seamless and efficient. Perfect girls weekend!

This place is perfect if you’re looking for a girls weekend! We did a long weekend with 8 girlfriends and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! The house itself is great, plenty of space for everybody upstairs and the games downstairs outside are great! We used the hot tub and pool each day, the brewery across the street was an easy walk, and it wasn’t too far of a drive to do a river float! I would definitely stay again!

Very clean, super child and pet friendly property

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the property! It was very clean, spacious and bright. There weren’t any pet restrictions and our dog had the time of his life during the stay! The basement had a fun play area and both our kids enjoyed (a 7 year old and an 11 month old). We had great time at the pool and around the fire. Kyle was extremely responsive and flexible and we truly appreciated that! I would highly recommend the property!

Great House for Breweries, Wineries, and Hiking

Great house for a girl's weekend away. There are tons of breweries and wineries within 20-30 mins away. The brewery walking distance was fantastic. Many hiking trails to checkout too. Would recommend for families or adult weekends away.

Boho mountain house was just what we needed

Such a cute home on the mountain. The decor and set up inside was flawless. The kids absolutely loved the pool and air hockey table. Beds were super comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was top notch! We didn’t want to leave the property and views. Will visit again!

Our Favorite Family Spot

This is our second time coming with our four kids ages 5-14, and everyone loves coming here. Everyone has something to do, our parents came as well and told us to tell you FIVE STARS, they didn’t want to leave!! They love seeing the kids so happy. We will absolutely love to return!

Wonderful Host

We had a great trip to the Charlottesville/Lynchburg area. The property was great for our family with lots to do on days when we had some free time. The host was very communicative and helpful. The property’s view of the mountains was fantastic, especially at sunset.

Great country getaway

My family and I had a great time at this property with the air hockey, dart board, firepit, & hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked with non-stick cookware, having everything one might need to cook. We cooked many of our meals, so this was appreciated (there's a limited number of restaurants in the area, but we like to cook). Communication with the owner was very easy and good.

Excellent Adventures in the Mountains with fantastic lodging

An absolutely fantastic place to stay for our mountain adventures...we hit the slopes skiing/snowboarding, did some fantastic hikes, and enjoy some local cuisine at several nearby restaurants. The house was perfect offering tons of amenities. Our kids loved all the games, the adults loved all the space plus the hot tub and it was even pet friendly. Our Host (Kyle & Krystal) was extremely response, friendly, and easy to work with....very simple to check-in/check-out! They even provided an outstanding website/app full of great information on the surrounding area.....the best "VBRO House Brochure" I've seen to date. We certainly look forward to staying here again on our next mountain getaway!

Beautiful location and awesome pool!

Excellent location to get away from the routine and close enough to visit Shenandoah, Monticello, and Richmond. Pool and hot tub are well maintained and the pool is HUGE! The bathrooms are smaller but very clean. Great game room setup downstairs that our teenager loved 😉 Brewery across the street has a great atmosphere! We would definitely recommend. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond.

Lovely escape to the countryside

My family, including an infant and 4 year old, recently spent a lovely week here. The property was impeccably cleaned before our arrival and the beds (mattress and linens) were very comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the game room in the basement. The pool was quite nice as well, with a good locked fence. We would stay here again!
