The listing was not as advertised. It was described as a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, but upon arrival it was clear this was inaccurate. The photos online also appeared misleading—the chandelier, curtains, and furniture did not match what was shown, which made me question whether the images had been altered.Most concerning was the master bathroom: the shower had been completely torn out and there was a strong mold/mildew smell. When I contacted the host, they said this was an “omission” and that the “toilet and sink still worked.” They also said they would update the listing, which they did while I was actively staying there. Updating the listing mid-stay felt misleading, especially since the missing bathroom clearly impacted my experience.I asked for a fair and reasonable resolution, but the host stopped responding. I then contacted Vrbo. During that call, it appeared Vrbo was also communicating with the host. When I stated that the listing showed 2 bathrooms, the host denied this and claimed it was listed as 1.5 baths, which was frustrating and felt lacking in integrity.That said, the area itself is beautiful and a great place to visit with family. Unfortunately, due to the inaccuracies and how the situation was handled, I would recommend staying somewhere else.
