Amazing off the beaten path gem

What a hidden gem - wonderful and charming motel that is off the beaten path and is so peaceful and quiet. Eric and his delightful wife were amazing hosts. Loved the rural nature of the location and fresh breakfast was an added bonus.

Fantastic, best accommodation in Armidale

A fantastic place to stay. Country setting but 5 minutes from the centre of Armidale. View from rooms of leafy trees and fields is very relaxing. The property is heritage listed and has a very interesting history. Theowners were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless with a great shower with great water pressure. It will be our only choice of accommodation when we next visit Armidale.

Booked this out-of-town motel as last time we stayed it had an excellent restaurant which saved a long trip into the city for dinner. However, restaurant is no longer operating, very disappointing and inconvenient. Otherwise, room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable.

The best hospitality I’ve experienced anywhere.

We, my 89 year old mother and were attending my daughter’s graduation with a law degree at Armidale’s New England University. We had some car trouble and navigation issue so our arrival went from 5pm, to nearly midnight. The manager of Moore Park Motor was gracious and concerned for us & made arrangements for us to access our room and checked up on us regularly. The Staff at the resort style motel were wonderful and accommodating. We arose late missing breakfast and the manager generously opened the restaurant for us offering a light breakfast. The whole stay we felt welcomed and at home, a very easygoing true Australian Hospitality. They checked our welfare and made sure we were ok. I highly recommend this establishment to all travelers passing through Armidale, a wonderful stopover with heaps of space, and beautiful country setting. In future when I travel the New England Highway, it will be my stopover. The the management and staff , thank for you hospitality and kindness. Kindest Regards Rene abd Hedi
