I know the fire alarm when on for the first time I have stay in the hotel . But it was because a high school had prom in the premises and the DJ was using fog so it set up the fire alarm . Accidents happen but the people that work there are very friendly and helpful . Thank you

Spent one night, staff friendly, room clean and quiet. Cute koi pond. Read negative hotel review about fire alarm going off and since it was from 2 months ago just thought it was a random bad night. Nope, before 10pm fire alarm went off and while we were downstairs evacuated we had conversations with other guests that this happens nightly. We believed the other guests because of past reviews and the fire department literally took their time to get there and check it out. Is nice hotel to stay at, but beware of their nightly fire alarm.

A fantastic stay that my wife and I come back to regularly. Living in our van and traveling around the area, we will usually get a hotel room a couple times a month as a sort of "reverse camping" trip, and each time we come back to The Medallion. At the time of writing they are in a renovation state, so there are some areas are a bit of a chaotic state

The good: - Multiple notices about being under construction/apologizing for the mess but no mess seen from the lobby or 3rd floor. - Room was well appointed and appeared recently remodeled -Decent breakfast The bad: - Stuffy/warm room upon arrival. Window only opened a few inches and the freeway noise is a lot. HVAC unit squealed every time it was turned on (I alerted the front desk when we left- she seemed to make note of it). - We opted to sleep with the window open as the freeway traffic got quieter at night and that was less than the squeal of the HVAC- but- we were awoken at 3am by a honking car in the parking lot and some sort of domestic dispute. The odd: - Is this a known party hotel?? When I checked in I had to initial/acknowledge that any noise complaints directed to our room would have a few charged. There was also signs in the vending machine/ice area asking people not to leave large full garbage bags in the space. Just seemed… odd….
