Great property, terrible communication
Received check in instructions the day before arrival, indicating that everything was ready to go. Upon arriving, we discovered that the the checkin package was not prepared as noted in the checkin instructions. Then we had to have 4 separate calls with Vacasa to determine that they didn't have a 2nd signed HOA agreement that fell through the cracks, which was eventually resolved after an hour of standing outside on the property. Had to call Vacasa these multiple times as the message we sent through VRBO wasn't responded to until 7 hours later. Our whole family was stuck outside in the rain for an hour before finally getting access, only because the condo association reps were able to contact the actual owner of the unit (not Vacasa) to expedite the process faster than the 7 hour response time.The unit and condo association is great, but Vacasa's communication and responsiveness was a disappointing start to the vacation.
