Villa Ariadne is an elegant stone built villa in the traditional village of Gavalochori, 25km east of Chania Crete. The villa is built on a hill and it offers a stunning view of the White Mountains and the valleys below. It has a unique architectural style featuring among others high vaulted ceilings, fine wood finish interior and two private pools (one regular and one lap). It has two master bedrooms and two twin bedrooms and it can accommodate up to 10 guests with the addition of two single beds. The nearest beach of Almyrida is 3km away while the nearest shops are 200m away.
The villa which provides 300 m2 of living space is built on a 1000 m2 private plot of land. It has its own parking space for two vehicles,
A supermarket, bakery, coffe shop and two restaurants are 200m away. The nearby beach of Almyrida (3km) offers additional places to shop and to dine.
Free WiFi coverage throughout the villa. Beach towels are provided. The pools operate from March 1 to October 30. Please note: No parties or loud music is allowed at the villa.

Great house in quiet location, fantastic views, village has everything you need. Pools fabulous, housekeeper very responsive on any issues faced does a great job. Clean and tidy change of sheets every few days was perfect. Some kit older but functional. Would recommend.

Perfect Retreat
The villa was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space for a big group, a decent kitchen when we wanted to cook at home, and the pools were clean and well-maintained. The town of Gavalochori was also incredibly charming. The tavern in town had fantastic food and the shops nearby were great for other local food, souvenirs, etc. Would definitely return!

Beautiful Villa with wonderful views
A wonderful and spacious Villa set in the hills overlooking the beautiful White Mountains. Highly recommended. Finished to a high standard and generously equipped. Gavalochori is close by but steal yourself for a steep climb back up to the hill to the Villa. Almyrida is a short taxi ride away which we visited often - great value restaurants set along the beach front in a relatively quiet and friendly resort.

Beautiful villa, with 2 fabulous pools. The villa is just like the pictures. Easy walk to shop and 2 Tavernas for meals. Nearest beach is 10 minutes and nice and sandy.

Super Villa zum entspannen
Die Villa hält was sie verspricht. Sehr viel Platz und super Pools. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Kleine super Restaurants im Dorf und ein kleiner Supermarkt. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Vermieter und Betreuerin sind super und helfen sofort. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmals wieder.

Just Great!
We had a wonderful time in Villa Ariadni. The caretaker Froso is a gem and also gave us great recommendations on where to find great restaurants and places to visit. The Villa is a wonderful accommodation for a relaxed vacation and with its 2 pools, and many amenities and great view of the Cretan mountains a wonderful place to unwind. Tolle Villa mit Blick in die Berge
Wir haben im Juli 2021 eine Woche in der Villa Ariadne verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit Christos hat reibungslos funktioniert, alle Fragen wurden sehr schnell beantwortet.
Der Empfang durch die Verwalterin war herzlich und wir wurden auch während unseres Aufenthaltes sehr gut von ihr betreut.
Die Villa ist genauso schön wie auf den Fotos. Wir hatten genug Platz für 7 Erwachsene und haben insbesondere die Terrasse und die Pools genutzt. Alle Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und die Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei.
Im Dorf Gavalochori gibt es zwei gute Tavernen. Wir haben dort mehrmals gegessen und würden beide Lokale weiterempfehlen. In der Dorfbäckerei gibt es täglich frische Brote, Teilchen und herzhaftes Gebäck.
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub dort und würden die Villa jederzeit wieder buchen.
