Anchor House is wonderfully positioned with views down to Pittenweem harbour (with to-ing and fro-ing of fishing boats) and a great base for exploring the Fife coast.

A stunningly beautiful flat in a wonderful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful flat. The place was exactly as described & very well appointed. Pittenweem itself is a wonderful place to stay for a few days - very charming & not far from St.Andrews. I hope to come back for a return visit!

Quaint Harbor Location

The place was beautiful and nestled in a wonderful fishing village near the harbor. We had a wonderful time!

Maia , the host was very responsive and kind. The house was so comfortable and cosy, although also really spacious and well equipped. We loved its quirkiness, it felt like a home from home. We were pretty lucky with the weather too. Would love to come back, maybe when the art festival is on, would % recommend!

Anchor House stay

We enjoyed the comfort and space at Anchor House. It was sunny and cosy and in an ideal location near the harbour. We recommend it for family holidays.

Family break

Comfortable, well equipped and wood burning fire was a bonus when power was out for about 10 hours. Beds comfortable and family all enjoyed.

We had a fabulous time at this wonderful house. It was exactly as described, super clean and had everything we needed. The location close to the harbour was perfect for watching the boats and enjoying the ice cream shop!

March break

In spite of cold and at times wet weather we enjoyed our stay in lovely Pittenweem coastal walks and local food. The house was warm and welcoming and had everything we needed.

The apartment was ideal for 2 couples. Plenty of space and very well equipped. Situated near the harbour, within walking distance of all shops, cafes and restaurants.

The apartment is lovely & very comfortable. Everything one could possibly need to enjoy the stay there is provided. The view of the harbour from the apartment is delightful. Pittenweem itself is a restful & interesting village. We'll return!

A most wonderful stay

Communication with owner friendly and easy. Any queries were answered promptly and politely. Location is perfect with views of the harbour. Right on the shore front with local shops, pub and restaurant 1 minute walk away. 3 minutes walk to village centre with lovely cafes and shops.Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Kitchen fully equipped and plenty of crockery and cutlery for our large group. Wifi worked well and the living room spacious and comfortable seating area. We loved our 4 nights stay and would highly recommend it.

Wonderful!

This is a wonderful, charming house. Prettier than the pictures. I loved the way it was decorated. The kitchen appeared to be a new reno, but it was done in a charming, cottage style. Thank you for the farm fresh eggs - I loved it!

Perfect house for our short stay in the East Neak of Fife

Lovely property just as described. Cosy and comfortable. Heating on for our arrival. The kitchen had everything needed and more. Perfect for families and groups. Loved the area. Great places to eat, fabulous coastal walks. The beds were super comfortable, and dogs made very welcome. The owner checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous

Maia was a really generous and helpful host. Not only was the place lovely and warm for a foggy weekend, but she went out of her way to help when we needed to find someone to look after our dog for our Isle of May trip which I also highly recommend as well as the dory bistro a few doors down. Thank you !

Harbour apartment

Lovely spacious flat. Everything you need. Steep steps to the main door then stairs to the upper level so not very suitable for visitors with walking difficulties. Lots of games for the kids and adults. Maia very helpful. Would say again.

Happy to say that this is a very nice accommodation with plenty of space for a family or friends. All appliances are available and in good working order. Very clean and spacious. Nice view of the Pittenweem Harbour. Stairs up to the entrance and stairs to the second floor. Plan to return in the future.

Absolutely loved our stay

We had never heard Pittenweem, but booked as a result of our original cottage elsewhere being cancelled. What a blessing. We have had the most wonderful time. To live for a few days close to the sea, harbour, rock pools, beaches, amazing walks has made this a very memorable stay. The property was great location, perfect for our 2 families, exactly as described with a very accomodating and helpful owner. We understand her passion for this beautiful little spot. We will be back. Thank you.

Perfect location

Spacious apartment near the harbour in Pittenweem. We were five women and there was plenty of space. It was very clean. Two full bathrooms, hairdryer, good shower pressure. Everyone had their own beds,My sister used the camp bed in the upstairs sitting room and was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and small appliances. No coffee maker but there was a French press. The lounge area was spacious and comfortable. There are stairs leading up to the entrance and two floors in the apartment. We felt very comfortable there. Maia was very easy to communicate with and was flexible on check in time. We would love to stay again when visiting family in the area. Diane from Canada
