It’s a deceptively large house with 2 generous master suites. The pool area is lovely and the property is overall very well maintained. There was no drain plug for the bath and despite asking for one it never arrived so we ended up buying one from Walmart in Bradenton. There was an issue with the showers not working which the host resolved very promptly though. The house was spotlessly clean and very convenient for all the local beaches. I would suggest for the future that it would be good for the host to offer a supply of beach/pool toys for the kids and possibly consider providing laundry detergent as many other short term rentals do offer this but it wasn’t a major issue.

Winter trip

The house is beautiful. The pool alarm as noted on other reviews is accurate. It is very loud and annoying if the bypass button is not pushed in time. There is no way to de-activate. Also, given the cost, it would be appropriate to have extra paper supplies aside from the 1 roll of toilet paper. There is no condiments, coffee filters, or coffee.

Hermione’s Satchel

Like Hermione’s purse, the house looks small on the outside, but so big and roomy on the inside! Great layout for couples and families! Location is wonderful and the house has plenty of chairs and beach toys. Only downside is the pool alarm that is mandated by the island. You learn very quickly to hit the bypass button! Highly recommend.

Cute house, great pool, nice location, missing some essentials

Lovely property/house. I always like to sum up review by "would I stay here again?", and the answer is, yes. While there is a wagon and chairs provided for trips to the beach, an umbrella was not and the property management company stated it doesn't provide that and pretty much counts on the people who have rented the place before leaving their purchased items behind. So we had to go out and spend $40 on a beach umbrella to use for the week, only to leave it behind for the next guests (you're welcome subsequent guests!). Another small-but-easy detail to provide would a cooler! Many of our prior VRBO's we've rented have provided this. Here, we had to buy an $8 Styrofoam cooler to get our beverages to the beach nice and chilly. Again, you're welcome next guests of the house! :) All-in-all, nice stay!

Perfect

Our group of 6 adults and 1 infant lived comfortably in North End Chic for 6 nights. House looks small from the outside, but is surprisingly big on the inside. Nice, open floor plan. Well equipped. Nice finishes. Back yard is as advertised (awesome), but was a bit buggy (no one’s fault). We had a grill/propane issue, but it was resolved in 1 day. Responsive hosts. This is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Walkable to Bean Point Beach (which is incredibly beautiful), but we rented and drove a golf cart there. House also comes with a few beach chairs and a wagon, which was a nice touch. Everyone on the trip would have no issue staying here again! Don’t hesitate to book.

Family comfort in Anna Maria Island

Very clean, comfortably furnished, and good location. Property was as advertised in the photos. Short walks to the Bayfront Park and the Bean Point beach. The gulf beach on the west side was by far the nicest, and about a five minute drive. Wish that the rental agency provided more laundry tabs, dishwashing tabs, and more and better quality toilet paper (not the kind of thing we were expecting to supply for ourselves at this price point), but the agency's concierge service was very helpful in arranging for boat tours and other island activities.

Great for our group of 7!

As advertised! Beautiful property with wonderful layout for our group of 7. Showers could use a much easier faucet system. Had a small plumbing hiccup but it was resolved immediately and the dryer went out our last day…but overall nice quiet location, great pool and home overall!

Lovely, but a little short of 5 stars.

This is a really nice house with a lovely pool and walking distance to the beach. It's not 5 stars because of small details: - shower head was broken, we reported it and were promised that it would be replaced, but it never got replaced. - ask for a late checkout -- 11 am and not 10 am -- "we don't do late checkout". It's not "we don't do late checkout", it's "i don't feel like asking my cleaning crew to arrive 1 hour later". Still, it's a lovely and functional house.

Property is awesome. Location is great. Pool Great. Only concern was cleaning it was horrible. We had to go get swiffers and cleaning supplies to clean(left in closet). Floor was covered in sand and dirt. Old band aid in master shower. House keeping not cleaning. Towels are not being properly washed upon check in per covid rules. Guests leaving property are required to “clean” towels and hang back up. Not sanitary at all. We changed beds upon leaving and taking pillow case off one pillow(bedroom by front door) there was a huge blood stain on it. A kid slept on that pilllow. I took pictures for follow up. We did contact Kelly they email in beginning of week about cleaning but didn’t get any response. Great property just needs better maintained.

North End Chic

We loved that the property was all ground level so we didn’t have to drag everything up a bunch of steep steps like most of the beach houses. It was an older home that had been beautifully renovated up to the best modern standards. The pool was lovely and all the back rooms had French doors leading out to it and also allowing a great view of it from inside which was especially nice at night with the pool lights on.

First timers to AMI

This was our first trip to AMI and we love the island, will definitely be back. Positives: The house was in a great location, close to the Bean Point Beach access and Rod and Reel Pier. Pizza social is awesome, so we definitely recommend them. And, the pool was lovely. Negatives: we were disappointed about the cleanliness of the property, which I made management aware of. They offered to have someone come back to clean but at that point we did not want to be bothered with someone coming into the home after our arrival. I made them aware of a few other minor things such as a missing blender, which they replaced quickly. There was some construction going on next door that was a bit loud during the day but we tuned it out for the most part. There are alarms on the doors leading out back, from all the rooms, that were a real nuisance because they go off every time a door is opened unless you push a bypass button, but we made due with those. We would have liked more accurate info on the beach accessories available at the house. We asked in advance but the company was not sure what was available so we bought and had to leave several things, hopefully others will enjoy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and Gladiolus street, where the house is located, is a great spot to stay in.
