Loved our stay in the cottage. It was clean, decently stocked for a couple nights stay, and very cozy! The only thing we found out is they don’t provide snow removal. We thankfully were able to flag down a plow guy to take care of the driveway for us. Otherwise, everything was great and we’ll definitely be back.

Clean rooms. (The drain in the bathroom sink needs to be cleaned) Quiet. Great coffee shop nearby. Well stocked kitchen. Washer/dryer was convenient. The bathroom door was very hard to close and stairs were cute but noisy to walk on.

Sooooo cute! If I could live in this cottage forever, I would! It was cozy, clean, beds were comfy and an overall great vibe. Plus the bathroom was fairly large. The neighborhood was very quite and we heard no outside noise. I’d stay here again!
Dinnerware was included! We were able to bring food and make ourselves breakfast.

The cabin was very clean, well decorated, had all of the amenities that a person would need while visiting, and private. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of activities. We would definitely rebook on our next trip!

I absolutely loved this property and wish I could have enjoyed a longer stay! Everything about the cabin was so cute! The kitchen was fully stocked and I stayed plenty warm. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe. I would stay here every time I came to Girdwood.

Summer at a Ski Resort

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. It's out of the city, but reasonably close to many of the things we wanted to see. There were trails within walking distance and a small grocery store nearby. The place had all of the amenities we needed. The spiral staircase was a special touch, as we have one in our home as well.

Loved our Girdwood Stay for our Honeymoon

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a cute small cabin loft style stay. I will say we were frustrated with the fact that the shower curtain was stained yellow and black....We were also discouraged that it was summer time in Alaska and the downstairs did not have black out curtains only the upstairs window so in turn it was still bright in our cabin. Lastly, it is summer in AK.... there were not screens on the windows and it was very warm in the cabin as we could not open the windows because mosquitos kept coming in. We were very hot sleeping and did not like this aspect.But we did enjoy the coziness and LOVED that the hosts had all kinds of tv programs to pick from on the apple TV. We liked the comfort of the beds.The kitchen was well equipt as well. Also thoughtful they had mosquito and bear spray as well. All in all it was a decent stay just wish it would've been a bit cleaner and screens on the windows! Would rebook in girdwood but maybe not here!

Very cute, poor national property management

Not a fan of Vacasa property management. Claims to be local - but isn’t. Difficult to work with. Refused to have an early check in due to cleaning, but no one was there when we arrived. Property itself was nice - however the shower curtain was stained and the blinds in the upstairs area where you sleep didn’t close. Also one of those that they expect to have spotless (dishes washed, trash taken out, etc) which makes it feel more like a chore than a vacation. Everything else was good with the property. You have to register a vehicle ahead of time which sucks if you’re renting a car.

The cottage was exceptional! The owners thought of everything! Kitchen has all the right tools to make just about any meal! Everything was clean and accessible! Loved it.

We liked our stay, but had some issues.

Cons: dirty pots and pans, no screens on the windows (letting in fresh air meant letting in bugs), dirty heater filter that caused beeping all night until I googled and solved the issue the next morning, tapping coming from the bathroom that goes all night (unless you leave the bathroom vent on), hot water runs out quickly, washer/dryer took an absurd amount of time to dry clothes (hours), can opener didn’t work, tv remotes (3 of them) don’t see to work properly. Pros: comfy beds, plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 small kids, plenty of towels/sheets/pillows, close to hiking, close to Girdwood and Aleyeska.

Great Stay

My friend and I rented this property for a wedding weekend in Girdwood and it was perfect! Close to everything in Girdwood, no issues checking in and the property was exactly as advertised. The space was well thought out, very clean and comfortable. Would highly suggest!
