We traveled with a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and Hanna’s house was more than enough for us. It is very spacious and has lots of sleeping options (a king bed upstairs, a queen downstairs and one twin over full bunk bed upstairs and one downstairs). The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) were adequate. The upstairs one had good storage options but the one downstairs didn’t have a lot of space for placing toiletry items. There was also a washer and dryer in the downstairs bathroom.
We came during a very warm time and the home does not have central A/C. But the downstairs rooms stayed comfortably cool with the fans provided and for the upstairs one we had a window/room portable A/C. We are from Colorado, so we like our bedrooms cold for sleeping. In two of the bedrooms, the blinds and curtains did let light through quite a bit, so we had to use sleep masks and the loft area with the upstairs bunk bed has no blinds or curtains on a small window. Overall, the beds were comfortable with the exception of the master bed, which was soft and seemed a little worn out.
Communication with Hanna was great and she was very responsive. We had noticed a few small tears in the window screens and she fixed them right away. She was quick in responding to any questions we had.
The neighborhood was easy to access and seemed quite safe. Our youngest enjoyed playing basketball with the neighbor kids across the street.
We would stay here again if we are back in Anchorage.
