We had a great stay! We loved that there were enough beds and baths for our group, and the kitchen was well supplied for cooking meals together. It’s a really beautiful location by the lake too.

Great location!

This was a great location for our staff retreat. Lots of space for group meetings, while allowing private time in our rooms. Beautiful location and lovely accomodations.

The Sleepy Deer Chalet was perfect for our large family to get together and celebrate the holidays! We were able to ice fish and enjoy the snow. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare large family meals and the open concept was the perfect space for to dine and play games together. The bedrooms are spread out so each area feels like it is it's own space if you need some time away from the group as well. Chris was great to work with as well! 10/10 would recommend to anyone look for a great WAPO experience!

Our family loved this place! Our parents have a place right across Lake Wapogasset and it worked out great to be that close to them! The house is beautiful and spacious! The outside deck/porch was magnificent to relax and sit in the shade! Easy to check in and contact the hosts!! Overall an amazing place and plan on booking again!!

The hosts were more than welcoming and very available to answer any questions we had before, during and after our 3 night stay. My husband and I picked this beautiful place for our large family to celebrate Christmas. We made use of every bedroom, every room and the lake out front. The kitchen was plenty big for all of us (10 adults and 12 grandchildren) and we spent many many hours at the dining table eating and playing games. We had a warm ice house and 2 side by sides on the lake for all to enjoy and even caught a few walleyes. We all agree we'd love to return sometime in the summer, Thank you C and T; a great time was had by all 3

Perfect getaway location

Every year we have a siblings weekend there are 7 siblings so there are 14 of us. This property was perfect for us. Everyone had their own private bedrooms & there was plenty of space for everyone.

Beautiful lake home with plenty of water activities to enjoy.. kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and water toys. Very spacious. Large covered outdoor deck was great with some rainy days. Check in was easy. The hosts were very quick to reply with questions. Lots of parking space. Wonderful place!

Great long weekend!

Another excellent stay at this property! We had 16 people and beds for everyone to stay comfortably. Big, well stocked kitchen, tables for everyone to eat both inside and outside. Huge patio with roof in case of rain. Comfortable living space for everyone. Many outdoor sitting areas with views of the lake at multiple levels - from the house down to the lake. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Sleepy Deer Chalet was perfect. Everything was as it was described and very clean. Having direct access to the lake was amazing and we could have housed many more people comfortably. It was exactly what we needed.

Annual Family Trip

We loved this house! There were 15 of us, ages 11 to 77. We loved the location on the water. Those steps were a good workout! The various water toys were a huge plus. We rented a pontoon. Loved the cleanliness of the house and all of the space. We had plenty of room to gather together but alao to spread out for alone time. We are already planning to book for next summer!

This was an amazing house for us to spend time in with our children and grandchildren!! There was plenty of everything for our family of 18…plenty of bedrooms, plenty of dishes for meals and cooking, plenty of room around the table and island, plenty of space for kids to play. The kids had so much fun fishing off the dock and swimming in the lake . The lily pad was a big hit for all ages and we made use of the paddle boards, kayaks and canoe! The hosts were wonderful to work with and very responsive to questions both before and during our stay. We had an unforgettable weekend at the Sleepy Deer Chalet!

A-plus property

Lots of room for our family from 3-78 years to spread out as a family. Kitchen was well stocked. Fishing was amazing and kids loved swimming off the dock. Owner responded fast to questions and would highly recommend this property to others, you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent home and location!

Outstanding home for our large group of adults and kids. Great gathering spaces both inside and outside including areas near the house and also by the lake. It was great to have kayaks and paddle boards available. House was stocked great - especially the kitchen. Great living, eating, sleeping spaces for all of us. Outside areas were amazing - deck and area overlooking lake on the roof of storage area. Plenty of chairs, nice fire pit and wood. Would definitely return!
