Absolutely Amazing !!

Simply out of this world !! Outside terrace is beautiful with plenty of space to relax in the sun and shade. There are table and chairs where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Huge BBQ if you fancy some outdoor cooking!! The townhouse has everything you could possibly need and so much more. From the many cooking utensils, plates, cutlery, bowls, pots, cups, wine glasses, the list is simply endless. There is also a huge fridge freezer ideal for keeping food and drink cool and for stocking up ice cubes. There is also a huge supply of candles in all sizes giving such a romantic feeling outside and in. Positioned in the heart of Altea old town where there are so many bars and restaurants, you would need to stay for months to try them all. The service and food in each we visited was second to none. All in all we couldn't recommend this property enough. We had the most wonderful time and will definitely return in the future. Special thanks to Christina for being a perfect host who replied to all our questions promptly. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will back !!

It was a pleasure staying in Christina's home. Whole House tastefully furnished and all amenities you could possibly need..The terrace was amazing and comfortable.... Perfect place for a relaxed vacation

This is the second time we rented this wonderful townhouse. The house is beautifully decorated, fully equipped and has a very nice terrace, perfect for our morning yoga and evning bbq. Altea is a very peaceful and beautiful place with a lot of nice restaurants.

Second Visit and still Perfect

This was our second stay at this property and I can only replicate my previous review from 2017. The home has been renovated and furnished to a very high standard and since my last visit there has been an external BBQ kitchen installed. Christina the owner is simply offering a first class rental, which delivers above expectation with a service to match. You will be greeted on arrival by her agent Sabine, who will walk you through everything and then meet you again when you leave. Altea is also the perfect location to stay, the beach is approx. 15/20 minute walk where you will find an abundance of restaurants. Then the bonus is you are literally 5 mins or 300 meters from the old town square, where again you will find many restaurants. We all post reviews giving the maximum amount and it’s generally due to your happiness when you have stayed, but generally the majority of property’s are really 4 star. Whereas this property is a genuine 5 star, there’s nothing I could think of to give a constructive review on improvements. Would stay here again without hesitation, everything was perfect.

Very comfortable house in the old town

Everything you need is at the house. The bed and sofa are comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. It is much more like a home than most rental properties (with lots of pots, pans, knives etc). We felt honoured to be able to stay here.

It's true... this property is exactly as the other reviews say it is. The property is beautifully finished and has every amenity you could wish for. The shower is excellent, the beds are comfy and the balcony is stunning. You couldn't ask for more. If you want to stay in the heart of Altea Town then this is the property you need to stay in. The owner is a pleasure to deal with, Sabine, who shows you around the house on arrival, is delightful, and the whole experience is first class. Just perfect!

Stunning house in beautiful Altea

We have just returned from a 2 week stay in Christina’s beautiful townhouse. We were met by Sabine the coordinator and check in was very quick and easy. Everything was explained to us in great detail and even though Sabine was only a quick phone call away we never needed to contact her as Christina had left detailed instructions of how everything worked. This is the most beautiful house you could wish to stay, the owner has impeccable taste and the style and furnishings is outstanding. I loved how Christina blended ultra modern lighting with the original beams and brick walls. The result is outstanding. Altea is a beautiful town with original shops and galleries and an abundance of bars and restaurants. The walk along the promenade into Albir was stunning and the lovely sea breeze was a welcome addition as every day was over 32 degrees. The highlight for me though was the fabulous terrace that Christina has created. It truly is a special place and we spent most of our time there. Lots of shaded areas and two very comfortable sun loungers are available to use. At night candles are supplied and it is a magical place once they are lit. Again Christina’s attention to detail is outstanding.in fact we spent at least 4 nights having an evening meal there even though we loved eating out in the old town. I would not hesitate to return again next time I visit Altea. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to live like a local in the beautiful old town of Altea.

Hidden gem, well worth the hours and hours searching for the perfect accommodation

After hours and days of searching we settled on this property and were not disappointed. Christina, the owner contacted us with detailed information and directions to the property before our departure. Our holiday began when we were welcomed by Sabine the coordinator who kindly explained the various aspects of the house and answered any questions. The property is situated in the old town of Altea, is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with every possible utensil and gadget, Including a flatscreen TV ( approx 50”) with over 300 channels and all Sky sports, which pleased my husband no end as he could catch up with the golf at the British Open! The bed was very comfortable and the bedding felt like new, with no scent or odours, as did the sofas and seating areas throughout. It truly felt like home for the ten beautiful days we spent there. We enjoyed wandering around the old town and down to the beach and along to Albir, however we frequently found ourselves hankering for the beautiful terrace back at the house, where we able to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. Again so well equipped, with sun beds a barbecue, covered comfortable seating area , table and chairs. Lovely planters well kept with a watering system in place meant the we enjoyed the terrace at all times of the day. With the use of abundant candles, together with the outside lighting, transforming it into a beautiful sanctuary where we relaxed with a glass of wine or two in the evening. We must thank Christina for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home, for providing us with lots of useful information and for introducing us to Altea, We look forward to returning, hopefully in the not too distant future. What a find! This house is unique and calming from the minute you walk through the door!

Christina has thought of everything with this house. Her attention to detail is amazing. The house was so much more spacious than I imagined too. It's calm and serene and so beautifully decorated and equipped. Everything has been thought of, you will want for nothing. The sight of a chilled bottle of Freixenet and 2 flutes was particularly welcoming and appreciated on our arrival. Sabine was waiting to welcome us and very soon the car was parked and we were left on the terrace to enjoy our Freixnet .... and what a terrace! We spent many hours out there just chilling. Again, beautifullly equipped, very spacious with shaded areas and the most comfortable sun loungers ever! The town itself was lovely with many restaurants and cafes. You really could go somewhere different everyday if you chose to. There is lots of information in the house regarding restaurants etc. The town was very tranquil during the day and comes alive at night. It' has a great atmosphere at all times. We did have a car but didn't use it much as we were just looking to relax. We took the tram along the coast one day and that was great fun. You can get the tram into Alicante for a day visit. We enjoyed the time on the beach, in the restaurants and bars and of course we loved the time spent in the house and on the terrace. Thank you so much Christina for a fabulous holiday in your beautiful house in beautiful Altea! A fantastic experience and I have no doubt we will return one day.

Hilltop unit with great terrace and free parking at your own risk

We stayed for a week and enjoyed the stay with a true Mediterranean diet, including fish, meat, fruits and veggies from the Mercado Municipal, meals on a terrace with views, and climbing up and down the steep hill with 200 steps. The sea was warm and clean so you need reef shoes to walk the beach. The free public parking near the Palau of Arts was recommended by the owner, though due to some local celebration on the plaza police towed our rental car and charged us 108 Euro for parking violation (!) and towing. The owner said that it is your own risk.

Perfect Apartment In A Prime Location

We had a fabulous week here - this is a very special appartment. The location is perfect on a quiet street in the old town but just a few hundred yards from the stylish shopping area and the church square with all the restaurants. We had a really warm welcome from Sabine who explained how everything worked and gave us some top tips for places to eat. The restaurants in Altea are great - here are a few we liked Bar Raco in the square (tapas and drinks), Fronton (breakfast), El Castell (fish, pasta, pizza) and at Albir Zero Zero (Menu Del Dia) The apartment is extremely spacious for a two bedroom retreat, with comfy seating all the rooms. It's very well equipped with a brilliant kitchen. The terrace is amazing, overlooking a beautiful and quiet garden. The different seating options were useful so you could choose sun or shade at any time of day. We were lucky enough to have great weather but this apartment would work all year round with plenty of throws and cushions and 100's of TV channels. We have used HomeAway before and have always been very impressed, we'd love to come back here sometime.

We stayed for one month in this house, its wonderful truly amazing.when we arrived we were met by Sabine who is Christina's coordinator and a lovely lady, she showed us around the house and explained everything to us. Also gave us tips where to eat and shop etc. The house is in such a lovely spot 2 minute walk to the beautiful square where the amazing church and lovely bars/restaurants are. The house has everything you need fast wifi and TV with all the English channels.we had a safe in the wardrobe. The bed was large and very comfortable with choice of pillows. The kitchen was just perfect for cooking which we did a lot of, we had every utensil you think of. We were able to wash our clothes in the washing machine and dry them on the terrace on the clothes airer. The terrace is beautiful with 2 sun loungers table 4 chairs and large corner sofa under shaded area. We felt so at home it's been done to a very high standard with every detail well thought out, there wasn't anything that Christina had not provided for a truly wonderful holiday home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday let, it is home from home. Thanks to Christina also for the welcome bottle of bubbly and our gifts, so thoughtful. Hopefully we will return.
