We all agreed that we would stay at the Cattleman's Headquarters again. There was so much room for our group of 10. The home is eclectic with a mix of vintage and new furniture and artwork. Some of the bathrooms have been updated nicely, some appear original to the home. The water is very mineral heavy and so most of the shower heads were clogged a little in some way and spraying in crazy directions. We were able to get some of them cleaned up and in better working order. A good vinegar or CLR soak or cleaning would do the trick. There are multiple functional kitchen areas with Keurig’s in each. There’s a large indoor eating area, a screened in porch with a patio table, and a long outdoor table for eating outside. I would recommend bringing comfortable outdoor chairs with you. The property is on a septic system and we were asked not to flush any paper products, even toilet paper, which was interesting. There was an option to have a personal chef cook dinner for the group, which we signed up for. Unfortunately, the chef had a family emergency and was unable to be there, but Madeleine was so responsive and immediately sent us options for local restaurants and even made reservations for us for an alternate open. We really appreciated this help. We stayed in the area for a family wedding, so didn’t have much time for exploring the ranch or city but hopefully will be able to get the family together again to come back out to explore the area and enjoy the property to the fullest.
