Location is 20-30 mins drive away from Almaty International Airport. A bit far from the centre of Almaty but Yandex taxi is pretty accessible from the hotel and can easily get you around. Breakfast is great! AC works well during Summer months. People working at the reception are super helpful and friendly.

Checked in for a short airport layover. Desk clerk was not at all happy to greet us. She wanted to charge us t4000 per person for a ride to the airport. The room was stifiling hot, and running the AC it took hours for the room to cool down. Upon check out the same desk clerk, told us to "go sit on the couch, while we check out the room." We had already called for a ride, so we had to wait about 15 minutes. Once the clerk got the okay, that we hadn't stolen anything from the room, she simply waved us away, and said "you can leave now". The area around the hotel is in a sketchy area with people walking around, some in the shadows, or just sitting in cars. There is also a car wash next door, that is open really late and seems to be a hangout. We stayed there because the reviews were good, but I would not ever stay there again.

Very clean and comfortable, helpful front desk

Very pleased with this hotel, so we came back when we retuened to Almaty. Very clean property. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with super clean comfortable bed. Wifi acceptable but could be improved. Front desk was extremely helpful with all needs. In a very nice neighborhood, and is located close to major train station, supermarket, major bus routes into city, and local parks. Will be happy to stay here again in the future.

Love the service provided by Zhamalay. She's an intelligent young lady, very helpful in organizing a day trip for us. Also gave good suggestions on the dinner we had from the kitchen. Kitchen serve good food. Only downside is the location of the hotel, far from city centre but convenient for those travel by train to other countries as it's close to railway station

The staff in the hotel especially at the reception is excellent. A person in particular that is a key to this hotel and a big asset is Zhamalay. She will do her best to make the client happy. My flight was late at night and I was able to do a late checking. My stay was a real plaisant. I wish only the hotel train the staff especially in the restaurant to learn English. Basic English is important to serve client. A need of an English Channel for the TV is important. I could not follow the news around the world during my whole stay.
