Our stay at this property knocked our expectations out of the park. Check-in was very easy and the driving directions easy to follow The pre-arrival communication was clear and accurate. This is a mountain haven, incredibly well appointed, with comfortable furniture complete with throw blankets. The property is clean and welcoming and feels like "coming home.' The en suite bathrooms in the three rooms worked out well for our family as everyone had their privacy and plenty of space. The kitchen was spotless and the hosts provided dish soap and dishwasher pods, coffee pods, a French Press, hot cocoa, and teas. We appreciated the welcome snacks and the binder with important information that was easy to read and understand relative to the area. The bedding was clean, and comfortable and met the needs of those who are always cold to those who are always hot. The hosts also graciously provided soaps and other items that travelers may forget such as toothbrushes, Qtips, cotton balls, etc. They thought of everything!Being able to park in the garage was an extra bonus! We especially enjoyed the spectacular view of the sunrise from the front windows and sitting out on the porch breathing in the fresh air. It was a great place to get away and relax from our weekend festivities. Thanks Wes & Linda for a great stay!

The location and property were ideal. The property is tucked away in the trees but we had no problems finding it with the directions given us. Our son got married at the Wild Basin Lodge which was about 4.5 miles away. The kitchen was stocked with the basics needed for meal prep and then some. The beds were confortable and the bath linens spa quality. Our host, Wes left us a very nice welcome gift with a handwritten card with his contact number.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway Under the Stars!
We had plans to do so much more, but ended up spending most of our time, enjoying the outdoors at this beautiful home under the stars! We were fortunate enough to book this during a meteor shower and it was unbelievable! We had a great time and the house could not have been more perfect for what we were looking for.

Awesome stay
We had a family visit and we’re fortunate enough to find this little gem of a house. Quiet, immaculate, well appointed, stocked better than any VRBO we’ve had. Far enough away from bustle but close enough for day trips. Super comfy beds and surroundings. Quality through and through.

An absolutely perfect location and beautiful home.
Minor “hiccup” on check-in was resolved quickly. We have stayed in Estes “proper” before. It’s nice but you don’t really feel like you’re ever out of the “rat race” that we go on vacation to get away from. This place solves that problem tenfold. Far enough out to be away from it all but close enough to go into town if that’s your scene. We will be staying here again, if it’s available, when we come back to Colorado.

Texans unwinding in the mountains
I can't say enough about this property, luxury retreat at astral peaks. Our party consisted of three adult couples from the Houston area that just wanted to get away and get into the mountains and unwind. This property was perfect for that. Wes, the owner came up after we got there and introduced himself, as he likes to meet who is going to be staying there. Great guy and he went over all the amenities in the house for us as he walked us through. We will definitely be back! We only left one time in the 4 days we were there and that was to go into Estes Park and walk through the Stanley Hotel. Had some amazing drinks at the old bar there. All six of us had the best time and will definitely be back to the retreat at astral peaks, Estes Park!!

A lovely launching pad!
This well-appointed, comfortable home was perfectly located for us to launch into RMNP and the Indian Peaks Wilderness for hikes and overnights. We enjoyed meals at home as well as in Estes, Lyons, and Nederland -- easy drives to each town! The owner was super helpful, too. It all made for a great vacation week!

Mountain Time
My husband and I met a best friend from our younger days at Astral Peaks for three days of hiking, cooking, reminiscing and relaxation. The house is situated in a lovely landscape, remote but not alone, drivable to many outstanding hikes, big and small; Lyons and Estes Park. Lots to do and see! The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and dining, indoors and al fresco, with the added surprise of abundant trail snacks, coffees and teas. Wes is completely available for tech assistance, suggestions for making the most of the area. We had the visit we wished for!

This beautiful secluded mountain home is comfortable and welcoming. The drive to Lyons, Rocky Mountain National Park or Estes Park is close enough to be easy but far enough to feel well away from the crowds.
