Good position close to the railway station Agha.

We stayed 2x2 nights. The first two nights we had a superior room with balcony (which was very dirty). The first two days we had breakfast, which was basic and the restaurant rather small. The first morning we sat in a comfortable corner, but the next day we were not allowed to sit there - we were told it was a waiting area, but nobody used it. That’s why we did not have breakfast the last two days, where we had a standard room, smaller than the first one and rather dark, but ok for the price. Most of the staff were friendly.

Customer service unprofessional, not listening. I paid for a superior suit , finding myself in a double room with tho small sofa gathered to form a big one plus safe bank broke. Really sad that the owner / management of the property showed no care to my case. I didn’t know that Algeria needed a visa which cannot be applied on arrival, needed 15 - 20’days costing a ridiculous amount of of money. I did call Expedia and explained my situation and the hotel simply said NO. I paid for a service i didn’t use and I would never ever set my foot in that hotel. Horrible service and an ugly outcome.

Forced encounters with the staff were awkward

I started my check-in in French and after a few sentences, the clerk looked at my passport (American) and switched to English. If his English had been amazing, I would have thought "ok, rude, but fine' (I understand French isn't the official language) but his English was fine not great. Which just made for an awkward conversation. Both clerks insisted in speaking English to me. Other reviews mention the staff being unfriendly. I found them friendly, but in a "hey, come over and let us practice our English with you" sort of way, not in the practical or professional way that you would want in staff from a hotel. It just made coming and going uncomfortable because the desk is right next to the door. The awkwardness of the interactions with the staff was enough for me not to stay here again or recommend. Also there was no hot water 2 of 3 nights and no internet one night. That aside, the view and the balcony were amazing (I tried hard to look at images before my stay to determine if there was a true balcony or just a railing). It was small, but a true balcony and 2 people could sit there. I was on the top floor (5th/(6th American)). Honestly if there had just been self check-in my stay would have been much better.

J'ai fait des centaines d’hôtels dans ma vie et c'est la première fois qu'un hôtel refuse catégoriquement de préparer ne serait-ce qu'un petit sac avec un minimum pour le petit déjeuner quand on doit partir à 4h du matin à cause du bateau ou de l'avion. Très décevant pour une tache si facile à réaliser. Dommage ça baissera la note.

É um hotel muito bom, aconchegante, limpo, e no centro de Argel, ótima localização. O que é ruim é que não tem estacionamento e ninguém para ajudar com as malas, então no tumulto do centro de Argel, é difícil se locomover nessas condições.

Le séjour s'est bien passé. Le personnel professionnel et fiable, s'ils étaient un peu plus souriant, cela serait parfait. Hôtel très bien placé pour pouvoir atteindre facilement tous les endroits de la ville. Le petit-déjeuner copieux, un peu plus d'attention au client lors du petit-déjeuner car même si organisé en buffet, la présence d'une personne pour assister les clients serait la bienvenue. Globalement, le séjour a été très agréable avec la disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel de cet hôtel

quel chouette petit hotel !!! c'est tout à fait ce que l'on recherche quand nous visitons les grandes villes, un hotel propre, un personnel sympathique à l'écoute et souriant, des transports en commun à proximité. Un petit déjeuner bien complet pour prendre des forces pour la journée. je conseille cet hotel sans problème. merci à lila et son équipe et bon mois de juillet (pour lila)
