Beautiful views

Very friendly staff, clean and spacious room with outstanding views. The restaurant downstairs offers a set menu for €13. The food is delicious and the service is spectacular

What a lovely place - a view of Gibraltar to die for. The staff are excellent and helpful. It’s an older hotel that could use an upgrade in the future but still just an unexpected treat in every way. It has an old world charm to it - so different from perhaps more luxurious but boring accommodation.

Even if its called Mirador, we got a ground fllor room with no view overall well, but could get something better for the same money, like AC Hotel thanks

very unprofessional and rude

I noticed that the air conditioning was not working properly and it was only blowing hot air. I contacted to reception and told them and with limited English language skills I was told that half the building was having problems with the AC, I asked for a fan in my room and I was told NO. I asked to speak with the manager when receptionist called her and she told me that if I am not happy I can get my money back and go to another hotel. I thank them got my suitcases and asked if I can use their Internet to book another hotel. They were very help full and I booked another room. When I asked them to refund the money the manager comes back that there will be no refund. I told them why will they make me book another hotel (non refundable) and now tell me no refund. She said that is not her problem and that there will be no refund.

Room had a large terrace, from which you could see Gibraltar, across the bay. Hotel is in the Rinconcillo neighborhood, which is upscale, and just a block to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They let me leave one of my bags at the hotel for four days.

The price was OK, but it definitely would not qualify as a three-star hotel, as advertised. Small bar of soap, no bottles of water in the room. The photo of the rooftop terrace on the site for the hotel was very deceiving. There were no tables or chairs to sit on, the paint was peeling and they had clotheslines on the terrace. The photo should be taken down. It's an older hotel and needs renovation. Staff, however, were very helpful.

Old style hotel but nicely renovated

Extremely difficult to locate as directions aren't correct. Once I arrived check-in was fine, room was absolutely as shown on the web (terrace with a view albeit of container port and Gibraltar). Despite its location right across from the motorway, it was quiet. The room was comfortable and modern. No option to include breakfast and it was expensive for what was provided. Location was isolated so lucky the hotel also provided dinner which was nothing special (bit bland).
