Hotel was good, but the breakfast was sparse. Although the room was clean, it wouldn't hurt to have someone go in to clean the corners and areas that might get missed by the regular cleaners

The room had no place to store clothing. There are no dresser or closet. There was no clothes iron. The free breakfast consisted of coffee and a waffle. Went to Cracker Barrel 3 miles away. Had people yelling in the hallway at 2am. Won't be staying at this facility again

The hidden gem

I travel the state of Louisiana from West Monroe to DeRidder, twice a week. It is at least a 320 mile round trip I make twice a week. On occassion I need to stop over in Alexandria to rest before finishing the trip. Super 8 of Alexandria is a hidden gem to rest and take a breather. This Super 8 regularly is rate 9 plus stars by others. Clean. Friendly. Convenient. And a excellent rice. It is well worth your stay.
