Wonderful, peaceful setting near Nazare

The old farmhouse is amazing with lots of antiques and the property is so pretty. All the amazing details make this the perfect, relaxing spot to spend a few days. The rooms are quaint with all the special extras, and the reception from Anabelle and Jean=Pierre was wonderful! We had a great breakfast with pastry and charcouterie, etc. Couldn't ask for more!

We were greeted as family and in fact thought some of the other guests were family. They did not speak english and we did not speak any of the languages they spoke but with google translate and some of the other guests we had no problem. Even after the other guests left. They even invited us to join them for the evening meal and it was one of the best we had off of an open barbeque.

Tricky to find but worth it.

The GPS coordinates given on HomeAway site are incorrect, and it took us a bit of time to make contact. The owners had to come to a local cafe and guide us back. But, in spite of our pathetic rudimentary Portuguese and a smattering of Française, all went pretty well. The hosts were very kind and solicitous about our recent experience with the terrible forest fires near Figueiró dos Vinhos and chatted with us, fed us royally and made us very comfortable. I loved the whispering of the giant reeds at night - it sounded like rain, which we crave. All was good, except perhaps the bed pillows, which were those bouncy rubber things and hot at night. Bring your own!

Excelente estadia

Espaço acolhedor e excelente para descanso e para quem procura sossego. A hospitalidade e simpatia dos proprietários foi excelente. O quarto e toalhas sempre cheirosos e limpos. Se houver mais oportunidades é sem duvida para repetir.

Une excellent semaine de vacances chez 2 personnes hyper sympathiques et disponibles

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine chez Anabela & Jean Pierre où tout est rassemblé pour passer de superbes vacances : propreté des lieux, grandeur de la chambre, accès à la cuisine d'été partagée et équipée, piscine, ... Des petit déjeuner très variés, copieux et composés de produits faits maison (confitures, gâteaux de Jean Pierre et oeuf sur le plat ou omelette d'Anabela) ont accompagnés notre séjour au quotidien. Anabela et Jean Pierre sont toujours à l'écoute et proposent d'excellents conseils sur les différents lieux à visiter. En conclusion, merci à vous 2, pour les superbes moments que nous avons partagés dans votre maison. Ne changez rien, tout est top !!

Mon mari et moi même avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour chez Anabella et Jean-Pierre. Tout était là, bonne humeur, couchage impeccable, propreté et tout est bien pensé pour le confort des locataires. Merci aussi pour ce bon repas de la semaine qui nous à ravi. La piscine est bien-sûr très agréable quand on sort des chambres. la cuisine d été à disposition c est vraiment bien. Le petit déjeuner copieux au bord de la piscine ou dans la salle commune suivant le temp, c est vraiment appréciable. Si nous le pouvons nous y reviendrons seul ou en famille. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse à tout ceux qui veulent passé un séjour à Nazaré. Merci à vous.

Klein paradijsje vol warmte en hartelijkheid

Een warme, hartelijke ontvangst op een mooi verzorgd en uitgebreid, verborgen, plekje in een rustige, landelijke omgeving.Het spoorlijntje dat er direct langsloopt geeft absoluut geen overlast! Fijne, lichte ruime kamer, goed bed en heerlijk schoon. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt (o.a. homemade jam, taart, verse eitjes) vooraf wordt gevraagd '' wat lust je graag'! Het is heerlijk toeven onder de ruime overkapping met bankstel, fauteuil en tafeltjes met stoelen. De aangrenzende keurige buitenkeuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en kan naar believen gebruikt worden. Verder is er een heerlijk ruim goed onderhouden zwembad met ligstoelen en een grote (woon)kamer voor gasten indien het te koud is om buiten te zitten. Hier ook weer alle comfort.! Gastheer en gastvrouw zijn geweldig! Doen alles om het naar je zin te maken, zelfs fietsen werden beschikbaar gesteld! De gesproken taal hier is Frans of Portugees. Deze fijne quinta ligt heerlijk rustig en toch gunstig voor bezoek aan nabijgelegen kust (Nazaré) met zn prachtige strand en gemoedelijke stadje en dorpjes.Een verblijf hier is zeker aan te bevelen. Hele fijne herinneringen aan ons 4daags verblijf! Nogmaals een grote Merci/Obrigado aan Anabelle en Jean Pierre

Merci encore Jean Pierre et Anabela, nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour. Un accueil chaleureux, des petits déjeuner extra, la piscine à 28°... idéale au moment de la canicule, les chambres sont impeccables tant sur la propreté qu'au niveau de la literie avec une ouverture sur le jardin... quel privilège !!! Tudo Bem !!!

Nous avons passé 2 semaines idéales au Portugal où nous avons pu visiter nombre de villages et sites historiques tout en faisant d'agréables ballades à pied. Il nous faut particulièrement remercier nos hôtes, Anabela et Jean-Pierre toujours attentifs à nos besoins et qui nous ont proposé un hébergement très bien entretenu et de bonne qualité. Nos journées commençaient de la meilleure des manières grâce aux copieux petits déjeuner qu'ils nous préparaient et finissaient par un bon bain réparateur dans la piscine. Nous avons aussi aimé les soirées organisées par Anabela et Jean-Pierre qui nous ont permis de découvrir de succulentes spécialités en créant de super moments de partage avec les autres vacanciers. Wat een gastvrij kleinschalig verblijf!

Wat een aardig, zorgzaam beheerdersechtpaar, niets is hen teveel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Keurige kamer en badkamer, mooie tuin, rustige ligging.Prima uitgeruste buitenkeuken waar je kunt koken als je dat wilt.Vlakbij het gezellige Nazaré met vele restaurantjes, enorm strand en prachtig kerkje boven in de “oude”stad. Veel te zien in de omgeving(75 kilometer), zoals Obidos, de zondagmarkt in Pataias,Tomar, Fatima...

Paradijs op aarde

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie doorgebracht in de b & b van Anabela en Jean-Pierre. De kamer en de badkamer waren prima en schoon. De tuin en het zwembad waren fantastisch. Maar het allerbeste was de gastvrijheid van dit stel. Geen enkele moeite was teveel. Het ontbijt was overvloedig met o.a. heerlijke zelfgemaakte jam. Op frisse avonden kregen we lekkere warme soep aangeboden en 2 avonden zijn we voor het diner uitgenodigd. Anabela zong fado en dat gaf een fantastische sfeer. De buitenkeuken die ter beschikking staat en de fietsen die gebruikt kunnen worden maken het verblijf heel compleet.

Un havre de paix. Anabela et Jean-Pierre sont formidables.

Tout était parfait, tout est fait pour que l on si sente bien. Chambre très propre donnant sur un magnifique jardin très bien entretenu et une belle piscine. La cuisine d été un vrai plus et très conviviale. La Quinta bien située pour visiter la région avec les différents points intéressants sites historiques et religieux et possibilité de détente sur les plages et bonne restauration familiale . Un séjour inoubliable dans un petit coin de paradis

Habitués aux séjours en chambre d'hôtes nous pouvons dire que celui-ci fut un véritable coup de cœur! Merci à Jean-Pierre et Anabela pour leur accueil chaleureux et leurs bons conseils en matière de visites, restaurants,... On se sent tout de suite chez soi tant vous mettez les gens à l'aise. Les petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse étaient un pur régal avec les bonnes confitures maison et les œufs frais. Merci de nous avoir fait découvrir le cabanon et ses apéros mémorables...ainsi que sa soupe aux cailloux! Seul bémol.....avoir du quitter ce coin de paradis et de nouveaux amis....mais nous reviendrons! Pascal et Brigitte

La propriété correspond à la description de l'annonce. Elle est entretenue quotidiennement . La chambre est spatieuse et très bien insonorisée . Un grand merci aux propriétaires (Anabella et Jean Pierre) pour leur bienveillance, leurs précieux conseils concernant les lieux de restauration , de sites historiques.... Propriété idéalement située:plages de Nazare, Saint Martinho (idéale pour les enfants) à 10min, parc aquatique,Lisbonne à 90km, Leiria à 40km,Fêtes populaires.Durant ces 10 jours, nous avons aussi su profiter de la piscine et du joli cadre reposant que nous offre la propriété .C'est une adresse que nous conseillons pour des vacances familiales mais aussi entre amis.
