Villa exclusiva opuesta Akureyri

Esta villa de lujo está situado en una pintoresca ubicación frente al centro de la ciudad de Akureyri. Spectacular property! Breathtaking views, spacious living area, cozy bedrooms, and well-kitted kitchen -- this home has it all. Communication with the host was outstanding, including the pre-arrival house guide and follow-up during the stay.I plan on returning to Akureyri next year and will absolutely stay here again if it is available.

This is an amazing, high-tech house in a great location with stunning view across to the town through huge windows. The view is especially magnificent at night.And there's a hot-tub which can be filled and emptied at the touch of a button.This was our second visit - we were very keen to return.

We had a wonderful stay in this villa and would highly recommend to future visitors. It is very close to local amenities and the airport.We had a few minor issues with the heating and electricity however these were swiftly addressed.The bedrooms and bathrooms were more than adequate as were the kitchen facilities. Would 100% return again if visiting Akureyri

Ein außergewöhnliches Juwel in AkureyriWir haben die Villa Hrafnabjörg in Akureyri von Ende Januar bis Mitte Februar 2026 für zwei Wochen gemietet und waren restlos begeistert. Das Haus ist großzügig geschnitten, äußerst komfortabel und für isländische Verhältnisse ungewöhnlich luxuriös ausgestattet – mit viel Stauraum, hochwertigen Möbeln und einer hervorragend ausgestatteten Küche.Der Blick durch die große Glasfront über Akureyri ist tagsüber wie nachts beeindruckend. Besonders im Winter ist die große Garage mit direktem Zugang ins Haus ein echter Vorteil – kein Eiskratzen, kein zugeschneites Auto.Hotpot und Dampfbad funktionieren einwandfrei und laden zu entspannten Abenden ein. Es ist etwas ganz Besonderes, im eigenen Hotpot zu sitzen und mit etwas Glück die Nordlichter zu beobachten.Das Haus war bei Ankunft makellos sauber, selbst unter Betten und Sofa. Wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Der Kontakt mit Thomas, Anette und Gudrun war jederzeit herzlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit.Einen Fernseher gibt es nicht – was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat. Die tolle Musikanlage und die bewusste Auszeit vom Medienkonsum waren sogar ein Gewinn.Für zwei Personen fast zu groß – aber wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

This is a great place to stay & not only for the views (which are amazing). The house is a great base to explore the wonders of North Iceland. If you want to chill, sitting in the hot tub overlooking the Eyjafjörður Fjord is highly recommended. Thanks to Guðrún, Annett & Thomas for being so accommodating as part of our stay. We will definitely be returning.

Our favorite stay during our 2 week trip around all of Iceland. Beautiful huge windows with a great view, especially at night. Hot tub was great. Massive snow fall while we were there but it was beautiful and we stayed cozy inside.

This is a comfortable, well designed house in a good location. Folks who want to see a variety of remarkable geological sites and thermal hot springs can find them within a 1.5 hour drive from this location. We had a peaceful panoramic view of Akureyri, the river, and surrounding mountains from the huge windows across the front of the house. The house was perfectly cleaned and provided all the amenities needed for cooking and relaxing. The four of us cooked lots of delicious meals, listened to a variety of music provided by the host, and spent quiet time in the hot tub. The beds are very comfortable and the floors are heated.The property manager was responsive and cooperative. They provided a useful guide for living in the house and special places to see. We would stay there again if we returned.

Magical stay as a midpoint on our ring road trip. We stayed 4 nights to rest up and enjoy some of the fabulous towns in the north. We ventured to the Troll Peninsula, the Diamond Circle and up to Husavik for horseback riding and whale watching. This was the perfect home to come home to. We enjoyed the hot top, the comfortable beds, having laundry facilities, it was all wonderful!

Another Wonderful Stay

We just finished 6 nights at Hrafnabjorg. This was our second stay at this particular home. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, it was fun to have a hot tub to relax in each night and the views of the fjord and Akureyri are spectacular. We were 3 adults & 2 kids. We highly recommend it!
