The hotel was old and needed some repairs and upgrades. That being said, I expected some of that considering the age of the hotel and the location five blocks from the heart of the city. The breakfast and tea room was the most charming thing about the hotel. It was bright and very clean. The buttery croissants were especially good. The best I’ve tasted so far in France (Paris included). The staff were exceptional.
