For me the selling point was proximity to the downtown area in Aix and parking. Some may prefer a hotel right in the middle of the downtown, but this one is close enough to the action. Also very inexpensive in my opinion.

Hôtel was very convenient to walking into Aix and the Old Town area where there was plenty of dining options; however, the area immediately around the hotel was fairly commercial (car repair shops, etc) and on a busy road with a narrow sidewalk for walking the 10 minutes into Aix and the Old Town.
