The hotel has a magnificent view of the temples and the hotel itself is has beautiful rooms, pool and dining areas. Our room had a porch with views of the temples. It was mesmerizing looking at the Temple of Cordia and Juno during the day and lit up at night.

This hotel alone is reason enough to visit the Valley of the Temples. From the moment you step through the door, the magic begins. The most important thing to know: book a room with a temple view — no matter the price. That view will become one of your most unforgettable memories of Sicily as a whole. The hotel has direct access to the entire archaeological park, and the entrance is not only convenient but also scenic, leading through a charming tree-lined path. Set aside at least an hour for breakfast — it's a full experience in itself, again with a breathtaking view of the temple. The entire hotel is filled with the fragrance of flowers. The rooms are brand new, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with every detail carefully thought out: ultra-fast Wi-Fi, strong water pressure in the shower, perfect mattresses, excellent soundproofing. There’s also a picturesque pool, and throughout the hotel you’ll hear beautiful music playing in different corners, adding to the overall sense of peace and elegance.

The property has spectacular views of the Temples. The Sicilian dinner was tasty but too much food. The restaurant food was just ok. We were a party of 3 with 2 rooms. They upgraded the single person to the Presidential suite and squeezed 2 persons in the standard room! Disappointed with that.

We felt like VIP’s!

The stay we had at this beautiful resort will live large in our minds forever. We had a wonderful stay. The location literally on the grounds of the archaeological park could not be better- with their own private entrance path through the olive trees taking you inside the park…our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The view from our room of the temple was amazing and truly unforgettable . There are so many activities offered to take advantage of if you have the time- must not miss! From walking the olive orchard and olive themed lunch to spa services- even horse riding to cooking classes of classic Sicilian foods. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with our jovial host Giovanni in the chef’s garden that was like something out of a movie. The food was incredible and truly authentic Sicilian delights and i am running out of adjectives to express the level of quality and high level hospitality that was offered to us. Incredible hosts and service on every level. The restaurant meals were beautifully prepared and local local local! Best quality! AnnaMaria arranged a lunch for us at the Scala de Turchi and it was fantastic service and delicious food in the most stunning location! I could go on and on about how special the staff made us feel. So warm and hospitable. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! We will definitely go back again and stay longer and we HIGHLY recommend this piece of indulgence among the Greek temples and Agrigentan countryside.

Excellent Service. The Restaurant there is to die for. The views are breathtaking. Its only 15 minutes away from the white wall, the citti Mall and the main shopping street in Agrigento. The private entrance to the Valley of Temples is a big plus.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Athena Resort! From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is absolutely stunning, and we were immediately taken by the beauty of the surroundings. Finding parking was easy, and we were happy that it was complimentary. Upon check-in, we were warmly greeted with drinks, and the check-in process was handled seamlessly. Even better, our luggage had already been delivered to our room by the time we arrived, which made the start of our stay even more relaxing. The views from our room were breathtaking, especially at night when the Concordia lit up the sky. The next morning, we had breakfast in the neighboring building, and the entrance was a see-through cover over ancient ruins – super cool. We were able to get tickets to Valley of the Temples from the resort. The ease of access via a private entrance at the resort was a bonus. As we walked to the Valley from the private entrance, we admired the thousands of wild flowers lining the path. This resort offers an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of luxury, history, and convenience. We’ll definitely be back and plan to stay longer next time!

Great hotel smack in the middle of ancient ruins.

Spectacular location. The restaurant was excellent, and the service in the restaurant was superb. Which was good, because the rest of the restaurants in Agrigento were nothing to write home about. The location of the hotel right in the middle of the archeological park was fabulous.
