For my first Bed & Breakfast, VAAST did not disappoint! I loved my room and the security of it. It was code access only. The breakfast was very simple and fresh. There were cooked items, fresh fruit, a number of different drinks. Parking was good and there are a lot of nice shops close by. Amanda was an amazing host! I definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

The owners, Tom and Amanda, are amazing hosts. Their home is beautiful and relaxing and they are always striving to see to your comfort. Breakfast is plentiful with eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes, juice, coffee, tea and even fresh cinnamon bread right out of the oven. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The property did not describe the bedrooms adequately. The one we chose had an unattached hallway bathroom, which we did not see listed in the description or we would not have selected it. The owners children were lounging in the common area in the Pajamas, and their dog was on the sofa up in our faces as well as in the dinning area with head near the tables

One night getaway

Host Amanda was very accommodating. Victorian house is beautiful. Great breakfast . Rooms 1-4 are on the third floor so are only accessed by 2 flights of stairs. Many gaming amenities. Pool was closed for the season but looked like it would be great in the summer. Only stayed one night, but a pleasant stay.

What an amazing place. A real satisfaction of the host and the amazing food and hospitality. The place is a perfect stay to set your base and make some round trip of the close surroundings of Lancaster, Hershey, Philadelphia or as far as Washington, New York, Atlantic City for a busy day with a late night return. You could enjoy a 6-7 night there without boring yourself as this place offer amazing game and pool.
